I remember finding this comic artist on Stumblupon back in the day, "Lackadaisy", who made a how-to-draw poster on facial expressions using human and anthropomorphic cat faces. Got me to seriously learn anatomy. She used to push back a bit on people calling her a furry artist. She said the reason she got into drawing "anthros" is because they have ears, haunches, and tails that you can point in different directions to emphasize expressions. And they have fur patterns that you can use to indicate a more aggressive, scruffy, clean-cut, etc. individual. It just gave her more creative options. She wasn't trying to join a movement of mildew mascots. It seems the real defining characteristic of a furry is their fursona. Their lack of a real personality, or EQ needed to express themselves. How little empathy must they have for others, that they find it easier to compare themselves to an animals than to other humans? We've got thousands of years of Western and Eastern literature to draw from. But, "im a fox, rawr" is all they got?

Another great gauntlet! I especially loved the parts where they saw a bat furry near the beginning and Paul didn't say a word despite just the other day saying 'there's no creativity in furries, they're all dogs, why don't we see any eels or bats?', and the part where they heard an obviously Australian man talk and began mocking English accents for some reason. But seriously, it was a lot of fun and hearing Paul almost reach breaking point only half way through was hilarious. Looking forward to the next gauntlet!

BUT, The pirates who robbed ALL of us (the guys for their work & us for our Patreon support) really disgust me! Especially when after all our excitement, waiting and the hard work on the guys’ part results in a video having to be limited to a shaky platform riddled with bugs & issues.
