Okay, as a Floridian I do take issue with something Paul said. He says that DeSantis admitted he doesn't really care about the 'woke' stuff, he's just playing to his base. And Paul's takeaway from that is "So he's already on record that he's not going to govern like some kind of crazy supernazi". Well, he's currently governing like some kind of crazy supernazi in Florida despite him not sincerely caring about the woke culture war. It doesn't matter if he's personally into it or not because he's shown he's willing to govern like a crazy fascist to throw red meat to the base. So Paul's line of logic here doesn't track. It sucks to see him make such a self-evidently incorrect argument.
