An existing good example of this would be Mitt and Conflict, both are Primaries and both are very intertwined to their Domains in ways that the will loose themselves into their domain. Vis going on about the lie that Dale was an existing god that was lost in 'Space' is a good tie into this.

I've been re listening to the first two books and honestly they are my favourite Dungeon books dispite how off the norm they are. As another suggestion could have him actually loose himself somewhat to the act of bending space. As in a way he is space now, so the act of doing it could be a new potential adiction in the same way 'experience' was from the people that die in his Dungeon.

Oooh, I like that. Into my notes! Thanks.

My only suggestion for the second pass would be maybe embelish the difference between essence space-shaping vs mana space-shaping. Like the way the space felt to move and such. Like feeling himself in the space considering he is now the god of space. You set it up well that he was wanting to go test out his abilities, could be a cool call back to his pevious experiences for a bit of reflection to the other books.

It *is* mostly out of character, but *in world*! If you check the first few chapters of book one, you will see the same kind of sudden shift of his character that then mellowed out. Getting shifted from one life-form to another is a serious issue and it causes some massive emotional and intellectual changes. Remember the manic naked hip-thrust dance? That was only the most blatant symptom. Then a sudden bit of furtive manipulation (even if obvious and not particularly well played), followed by disregard of a serious issue and an attempt to show off. These are some serious mood-swings. Don't worry, he will figure it out soon enough and start to mellow out again =D

For someone who can supposedly do a lot of thinking from a human perspective and bring it all together, most of what Dale has been doing for the past few chapters reads as if he is a teenager dealing with angst and dealing with the garbage life throws at you. Nothing thought out, while not healthily dealing with problematic emotions and inputs. Like the type of life form he is just changed and instead of asking for any advice the first thing he did was run away from anyone who could give advice and pretend nothing has changed. Like I have a hard time believing any character would act that way let alone this character. Sure I can think of "reasons" why that has happened but it just feels and reads as out of character to me personally. This is not meant to be like "Oh this is bad", in fact I have mostly enjoyed the chapters so far, this is just meant as feed back that at least 1 reader loses immersion in the characters and world due to feeling that some of Dale's actions are a bit out of character from what is in said reader's head. If there is one there is a good chance there will be more. I don't think it's a big deal or that anything needs to change simply feed back for going forward! :D Thank you for the chapter!
