God amateurs talking about steroids. A cycle is an injection of testosterone you take pills to prevent high estrogen levels. Then you take pills after to slowly level out. Temporary shrinking balls but not dick size. Paul is dumb. I've done cycles it's not just test.

And why would you assume that something like the Basilisk would be AI? How do you know it wouldn't be a biological Mentat-like being, like from Dune? This whole "thought experiment" is just too laser focused on what the creator wanted it to be about. It's ridiculous. WHERE ARE THE MENTATS?!

Roko's Basilisk seems pretty dumb. It's going off a lot of assumptions. It's assuming that the ultimate A.I. will be benevolent. It's assuming that time travel through the multiverse is possible. It's assuming that an A.I. would give a fuck about other multiverses. This is just one specific little idea that somebody had. It's a fun story to think about, but should not be taken seriously and is not at all possible. Not to mention, that whole simulation hypothesis. That's all meaningless if a simulation is advanced enough to make us. It's not a simulation, then. It's just a different type of universe. So why would that matter at all, even if it were true?
