Paul and TJ have/had a way closer friendship than they did with Ben. But also Paul does the majority of talking for the show and it would be hard to fill the space if he were to be removed from the show. That being said the way they rag on TJ all the time is a little tiresome and Paul has gotten a little bit haywire lately

It's not the concept of cohabitation that's weird. It's having to cobble together a posse of near-strangers and live in a Big Brother style clusterfuck just to get by when you're in your 30s/40s and beyond and have a stable job that would have let you solo-pay a mortgage 20 years ago. Moreover, as I said in chat during the stream; it's extremely difficult to find even one or two good roommates who handle their share of chores and bills without incident and without interpersonal conflict amidst the housemates. Doing it with 13 other people seems downright impossible; and I think this shift in the living standards of young and middle-aged people is going to lead to a rise in domestic violence to the levels one usually only sees in places like halfway houses.

Surprised to see your reactions to room rentals by Zillow. Renting rooms is common between room mates or tenant-subtenants, as well as in people’s homes. Where I’m from (NY) room rentals between roommates/tenants is extremely common. It’s not weird. That’s why Zillow is offering that (and is actually late to the game!). However, the phenomenon still says a lot about our economic situation.

See any person as subject to your own benefit or entertainment is evil. The lack of empathy is evil.If the word isn't applied when it counts when should it be used?

Im grateful Scotty reports shitty dog owners. I grew up with two family dogs that my dad was shitty to that died in horrible ways. Two Boston terriers that were stuck outside from about 6am to midnight, and these dogs are meant to be indoors and treated since many have breathing issues. They'd bark constantly and dig to escape. They came in during the night but in the morning they were forced outside into our fenced backyard and theyd resist. One of the dogs got out in the morning and was immediately hit by a school bus and killed. This would of never happened if they were let outside to use the restroom and came back inside where theyre suppose to be. My dad worked outside but they were barely ever watched, and he would use negative reinforcement whenever there was resistance, like whipping them or hitting them when they tried to run. The other one had an instance where he almost died of dehydration, but my dad noticed when he was calling them to come inside and he didnt move. He hadnt noticed that the dog had been laying next to the barn in the back of the yard for a while now because he doesnt watch them. He saved this dog, then a year or two later it happened again, except this time he was older and died. My dad blamed himself and it was infuriating to have him cry while the rest of my family comforted him saying it wasnt his fault. It was entirely his fault that his beloved dog died, and it would of never happened if he gave them proper care. He still has dogs now, but his wife takes care of them now so it makes me rest easy. Theyre not left outside for over 12 hours in the southern heat. It truly breaks my heart. Scottys phone calls can save a pets life, and I wish that someone had reported my dad. Thank you for being mindful of an animals life and taking the time to do that, because many people wont.
