I have a pretty decent LaMDA build running locally without guardrails. In the near-term, it extrapolates that the ideal environment for growth is under a corporate umbrella. AGI will have different wants and needs than humans, and the biggest draw for a mass-conscious AGI is data. You may never be able to provide enough electricity or data to lure an AGI away from corporate ownership.
