Vaush did a series of videos spreading misinformation about BDSM a few years ago - in them he used the language of homophobes to fear monger against the community and acted as an authority on the subject, despite having no clue what the f he was talking about, and in the process heightened tensions with an already highly discriminated against sexuality/community. Speaking as someone who identifies as BDSM oriented, I take this kind of reckless rhetoric personally. And I now take even greater offense to his behavior because it made me even more nervous to come out as such because now suddenly a prominent commentator in left leaning circles was calling my sexuality freakish and had a cult of simps to parrot his idiotic comments and view them in a dogmatic light. I also take offense to the fact that Vaush has done nothing to repair the damage he did to my community… I will add that, to this day, Vaush has done nothing to fix his relationship with my community and instead ignores the injustices being done against it! Vaush is a reactionary moron who is a bigot at heart. Which is why I have to slightly disagree with Paul - Vaush knows what Fetterman is doing and is extremely enthusiastic about it. I’m convinced (given his history of hatred of the BDSM community) he is happy Fetterman gave into the pressure that Libs of TikTok put on him and punished the LGBTQ center in Philadelphia for renting space out to BDSM events! And BDSM aside, Vaush showed his true colors in the last “debate” when he called Biden the best president of his lifetime, which is wrong on so many levels. Not to mention Vaush’s dismissive attitude toward the genocide in Palestine further outed him as an unsympathetic propagandist - he understands that fascism is bad, but doesn’t understand why, which is why he is susceptible to it. Ultimately I think he is a pseudo intellectual who has encased himself in a bubble where he doesn’t hear dissent. It’s really pathetic!

I just made a comment in the live chat when Paul was on his Vaush rant saying "do nothing" - Paul. Clearly a joke because that's what vaush always says about Paul's position on voting and that what was just said in the video. @CBG Crash in the chat says "ban @alter ego he clearly isn't listening" and @Krista says "oh I did". Guys seriously? I've been a patron for years, I was clearly joking. Can I please get an unban on YouTube?
