I never thought this would be one of the most boring Gauntlets. I was expecting this to be my favorite because I've been subscribed to TJ since 2008. Two and a half hours of looking at a photo album and Paul pretending to be a performer, I couldn't take any more.

That was an awesome gauntlet. Your moms is cool as fuck man. I've been watching since I was around 13-14, and I'm about to turn 28. I can't believe that much time has gone by, but it made this gauntlet that much cooler to see how TJ changed over the years, and became who he is, honestly.

Been watching TJ ever since I was in middle school or something like that...I'm nearing my 30s now. When you watch someone's content for so long, you start to feel like you know them irl. TJ took on almost like a virtual older brother role in my life. To parrot everyone else, this gauntlet was very wholesome and only made me feel like I know these people even more. Actually, TJ is a really big part of me being an atheist today. I watched his garage videos way back in 2008 and, as a Christian, I was irritated by him but found him interesting. He seemed like a cocky dick to be honest and I saw him as a lost person who was too proud to see “the truth”. By 2015 and the start of the trump era, a TJ video popped in my feed (and I hardly ever watched YouTube before from 2011-2015 because I lived in an area with bad internet) and he was now talking about all the things that were important to me like Medicare for all and basically treating people with fairness. So, seeing Christian’s be so awful and this guy I always saw as a lost asshole show empathy was the start of a process where I went from questioning Christianity, to learning about evolution and I’m now an atheist when I realize the facts don’t support religion Honestly, I genuinely feel like I owe a debt of gratitude to TJ

I was like 11 when I lied about a broken window. My parents had given my a ton of chores to do to be able to go to a summer camp thing. I did them all week but then stayed out late or something and they said I couldn't go, I was furious. Literally as my mom was driving away, to take only my brother, I kicked in a big, front yard window. Then I sulked until dad got home from work. I then made up an elaborate story about two unknown kids playing baseball in the street, and the ball went through the window. When the police officer arrived, ai explained the baseballs disappearance by claiming in my justified anger, I threw the ball menacingly, in the direction of the fleeing culprits, and they must have retrieved it. I'm ashamed to say the description I gave, was two black kids, a little older than me - oof. I know my dad didn't believe me - and the truth came out later - but the officer filed a report and nothing came of it

This was yet another out of the park gauntlet. Fuck anyone who wants to rag on this for not being what they expect cause it was amazing. It was pretty fun them just talking about old pictures tbh. I cringe when my parents bring out my childhood photos but it's more fun when it's someone elses album and memories. You get to know people even more when you talk about childhood memories. Scotty defenetly was the spoiled younger sibling, which I know too well as the firstborn haha. Was skeptical about this one but it became one of my favorites! It feels like we were invited to thanksgiving dinner with the Kirk’s. I hope their mom and Stevie make a cameo on the show more often, especially during TJ/Scotty story time. Really enjoyed this gauntlet and the deep dive into TJ'S life. Hopefully a Part 2 is on the cards with a retrospective on more of his videos. Also if there is ever a classic DFF episode on TJ and Scotty's dad, they need to bring TJ and Scotty's mom back. I bet she'd have some crazy stories.
