I would like to see you guys do an episode on the Japanese visual novel Danganronpa. The story of its widespread success and how it became a nearly 10 year cultural phenomenon. Is probably the most interesting thing about that series. It’s rise to prominence really is very similar to Dragonball Z. Except Danganronpa wasn’t instantly successful, it blew up into widespread popularity nearly 6 years after it’s release, when it got a western release and localization. I think you guys would like delving into it because theres a lot of inspiration from western pop culture, most notably Nirvana.
