As a digital painter, I really struggle to understand the backlash against AI. Artists act like it’s theft, but as artist myself (part time), no one can own a style. just because it isn’t created through hours of brushstrokes like I do, doesn’t mean it’s not a form of art. Just because clothes are in every store doesn’t mean people don’t sew or knit sweaters anymore. I know plenty of artists who still get commissions and make money on their little shops. I have my own print shop. AI isn’t killing painters. It’s just another creative outlet. That doesn’t mean that artists aren’t being commissioned anymore:

Why do the good spins never get chosen? I wanted to hear them talk about the Terrifier "controversy." I literally went to high school with DHT, he was in my homeroom class. He was super introverted, I was too, I really don't remember him at all but I'm sure he was a good kid. But if you want a real mindfuck, do a search on YT for Jeffrey Franklin, another one of our Grissom class of 98 psychos, and compare that shit to the opening act of Terrifier 3! No way Damien hasn't heard about Jeff Franklin. I knew Jeff too, I even went to his house once...not when it all went down though! We were friends until he started getting really weird, like violent agressive and always talking about Satan. So many more stories, but I'll stop, wouldn't want to bore you.
