Terrible review of Nosferatu. That film is a masterpiece. Van Helsing is something of an eccentric in the book, but not over the top. I think Dafoe captured the tone of his character brilliantly imo.

Paul was so spot on about these abusive empty voids that walk among us. A lot of my childhood friends are exactly this way. Just totally dead inside, maladjusted adults, that will say whatever they need to say regardless of how damaging it is or fantastical it comes off. and they have kids too, which is so much worse lol

All 3 of you helped me to be much more critical and skeptical of content creators who milk sympathy from vewiers by faking constant misfortune in their lives.
