When The Interview was preemptively banned and was not going to get a theatrical release near me, I bought it off of youtube the day it was released. Normally I would have just watched that shit on Project Free TV. Getting banned was great marketing.

All of Sergei Eisenstein's stuff is worth a watch. Many of his best movies, like Ivan the Terrible, were made during the German invasion of the USSR. So even food and reliable electricity were hard to come by.
