Dev Update #56

I hope you're all doing well. Things have been good here. I have nothing to complain about.
I'll get right into the progress of the next update. First, I should have posted this last week. I've been working away on the update, and it totally slipped my mind until someone in Discord asked a question. My apologies for that.
So, like I just said, I've been working really hard on the update. And as I was playing through what I had already finished, I felt that two of the scenes could benefit from adding a little more to them. So that's what I did. I added to the scenes and fleshed them out a little bit more than originally scripted. I like the scenes a lot better now. So now I'm a little behind where I should be, and the progress image percentages are corrupted. With that said, I am currently finishing the big climax of the update, which is a story-driven scene, which is really awesome scene, by the way. But it's also a lot of work. The whole scene changes environments like 5 or 6 times. So that's 5 or 6 maps I have to setup and then do the lighting and posing. (I also modded/ported new maps and items myself for a lot of it.) But I am at the end of that scene, and then I start the last scene, the spicy one with all the animations, and the update is finished. The animated scenes always take the longest, so bear with me; we are almost to the end.
To save time, I'll probably give the update to my testers and proofreaders while I'm working on the final scene. I get asked a lot about helping with the proofreading and testing. I just wanted to let everyone know that I already have a small team that helps with that. If someone can't do it this time, I will reach out to someone on Discord with whom I'm familiar. You don't need to ask.
Currently, I have about 1300 renders finished and 73 animations. That's everything new I have to report this time, but not too much longer to go.

I just wanted to say that I'm a huge fan of Ripples. I just joined the Patreon so I can see the updates and play it sooner. Anyway, keep up the good work and I can't wait to play 0.7 when it releases. :)

I am excited that your pushing yourself a bit, but don't kill yourself. I am also excited that your critically watching the story flow as you bug test completed scene's typically means a much higher quality product which we all LOVE!!

Woohoo Jestur is ALIVE! That's one of the AVN devs I was concerned about covered! Given where we left off before, I assumed there's going to be a lot of story in this one, and was wondering if you were struggling with it. Glad to hear the progress, and hopefully we can see what you've been cooking soon!

Do you need a tester? No, really just a joke. Nice to see an end to the update, we can hardly wait. And I think it's good if you change scenes again. You have to be happy with your game too.
