🕑 Added 2024-08-04 01:54:17 +0000 UTCI had a recent kick of replaying PMD and I figured why not try my hand at some of the game's artwork!
PMD always had a special place in my heart, as it was one of the few games I could afford as a younger child.
I'm basing these pieces based on my first playthrough of PMD Explorers of Sky. I remember being so excited being able to play as my favorite mons. On this playthrough, I had a Riolu named Lucas and a Vulpix named Amara. I still have that cartridge kicking around somewhere...
My goals with these pieces is to shift gears into something I don't really get to draw that often, but also recreate the scenes I imagined in my head as these two traversed their world.

I feel bad. I never really got into that series. I played the first one a fair bit but never actually finished it. My poor little heart couldn't handle the Gengar slander that game perpetuated.

PMD was so good dude, having an adventure as the pokeman was on a whole new level and these pics really capture the feel of being in that perspective

Exactly how I feel about these. They're not quite up to my vision, but they're close. And close is better than not having done them at all! I think you should do your own!
