the rhythm of to you from italy is slower than my usual pace but i really wanted to explore the nuances of a relationship between two extremely neurodivergent characters and that’s why kagehina has always been so special to me. (being ADHD and in a relationship with an autistic partner myself)
i don’t want them to have an easy all hehe haha LDR bc ofc their brains are so similar and so different at the same time! its not supposed to be common sense for them to arrive at conclusions as it does other couples. they grew up together as kids and need more growing up to do! first loves are so romantic, but it does come with its own unique set of struggles after all!

Oikawa for the win 👏🏼👏🏼 I live for him being there and being the best friend and best big brother figure and just CARING so much. Because he might be a little shit a lot of the time but he has such a big heart and I feel like sometimes people forget that. And even though he’s aggressively showing it here, and mildly insulting Tobio while he does it, he’s trying his hardest to help BOTH of them because this rut isn’t only hurting Shouyou and Oikawa is keen enough to know that. I love his explanation of Tobio in the mountain, so perfectly Tobio and hilarious and just so Oikawa of him to portray it like that. And the way he takes command is also so reminiscent of Captain-kawa. I am loving every scene of this.

ALLY I love everything about this update! Your reflection in the A/N, Tooru's protectiveness and instinctive knowledge of Kagehina, his advice! Also, can I just say that seeing Hinata doubt himself and their relationship because of Kageyama's "I take affection for granted with YOU bc it's *you* and I know we understand each other" made me honest to goodness tear up a little bit. It's not easy being in a neurodivergent relationship (from personal experience) and communication can be one of the main pitfalls in it (I'll admit seeing Hinata crying quietly made my heart squeeze so badly it hurt for a while 💔)

Imagine Oikawa proudly telling Iwaizumi how he solved Hinata's problems and Iwaizumi is like "oi. Is that what those 2-3 days you occasionally have when you don't talk to me are about? Yknow the point of not intiating is to do it for MORE than 3 days, right?"
