Yeees, I remember you mentioned it to me once (I have a good memory haha😁) but I like trying to get a little closer to the original styles. I think doing everything in my own style would be too easy and there wouldn’t be a real challenge as an artist. it’s not about mimic; I see it more as a nice way to improve aspects (stepping out of my comfort zone) and learn new things that would be hard to learn within the comfort of my own style 🩷 I've never been able to draw Shiver in the original style; it’s really hard for me, but I want to achieve it someday!

I always prefer when artists draw characters in their own style rather than trying to mimick the source material's style tbh :o That can also include promotion/facial changes and whatnot, as long as the character is still recognizable

I know my friend... it's awful that if you want to be on social media, you have to deal with people who feel entitled to say whatever they want to you. I honestly can’t understand how someone can be there just to criticize others. It’s happened to me too, but I try to ignore it, you'll never see me replying to mean people. - PS: And… you like Daisy? OMG, she’s my favorite too! Well, along with: Pauline (I saw they reduced her breast size ¬_¬) And Diddy (he’s kinda vanished off the face of the earth)

We can be our own worst critics at times...well, unless you're on social media because people are MEAN there! I love Shiver and Fyre here <3 and I just adored your Peach from Pixiv. Maybe we'll race someday in MK World! (I already know I'm playing swimsuit Daisy...)

:OO Really!? In general, do you prefer softer drawings? it was difficult for me to draw Shiver here haha. The proportions of her face are strange for me; it's in between anime proportions and cartoon proportions. I want to practice a bit more so that she turns out as close as possible to the original design, it's my personal challenge!

I'm really glad you like the "old" drawings, my friend Yoku! 😄❤️ I’m not really planning to reuse or color those same drawings, but I'm thinking about making a Shiver set (I'm totally in love with her haha) I'm not so sure about making one of Frye though, I think she’s not that popular in the fandom 😔 But maybe I could include her in an illustration where both of them appear together!

In my honest opinion, those looked incredible to begin with, but I’m glad you shared them in the end. Any plans of possibly redoing those in the future with your current style/the way you do the sets?
