Honeymoon kinda sucked actually! We went to South Beach in Miami. We've had a good time at other vacation spots in FL but this wasn't really our style. It's overpriced and kinda gross, and the sleazy party vibe was too much for us esp after all the stress and excitement of the wedding. I got sick, Yui broke out in a stress rash, and we were both just really tired and missing home, so we said F it and flew back early. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
On the plus side, we saw lots of really cool historic Art Deco buildings from the 20's and 30's, and we visited the World Erotic Art Museum which was pretty neat!
Anyway, thanks for being patient while I was gone. Back to your regularly scheduled pervy stuff!

Coming from a local: Va isn't terrible. Plenty of historical stuff if that's your jam. Also Virginia Beach is lovely in the spring. Plus you're only about 2-4 hours from Washington so plenty to do and see! But if you're going for Beach vibes: South Myrtle Beach in SC is pretty nice too

We've been to Ft Lauderdale a couple of times! I've heard Miami is kinda sketchy but I was like... We've never been there before, it's not too long of a flight, it's on the beach, it's walkable with lots of little shops and local attractions... How bad could it be? Oh well. 🤷♀️

South Beach is a shit hole, jam. Southern Florida is kinda....a hot mess. That's why people vacation in lesser known spots like Lauderdale or Ft Myers. Clearwater isn't bad, either! Then again, check out TN if you like rural spots.

Thanks! Like I said we've had good times in FL before, but I can see what you mean. I'm from NY so I'm used to people being rude, being loud, littering, walking slow, getting in the way, getting trashed in public, etc etc. Miami was still too much for me. It has the worst people out of anywhere we've ever visited. It's like if the Wal Mart parking lot was a city.
