This new story line is better than i thought! Absolutely loving the new characters, especially Near, he's helping fill that void that L left ๐ญ and light is definitely going through some obstacles. i guess i finally know where he draws the line... nowhere ๐คช

Oh so basically the shinigami world scene is basically each shinigami only gets one death note. However ryuk had an extra one which he gave to light. This scene is basically implying that ryuk stole the notebook from that shinigami so heโs stuck without one so heโs having to go back down to earth to get his notebook back.
