The Kash storyline is one thing that makes the story dated. Before internet In neighborhoods like this with zero out gay people it wasnโt unheard of for two people with a huge age gap to hook up because they were the only other gay people they knew. Iโve always found this to be gross but not abusive because it is pretty clear Ian is the more mature one in the relationship and there never was anything hinting that the relationship wasn't 100% consensual
