I thought I was gonna die (health scare/update)
🕑 Added 2024-01-26 21:10:52 +0000 UTChey folks. SO.. just wanted to give you all an update since i haven’t let you all know what’s been happening yet bc its been a hectic time for me. I’ve recently had some health scares that have definitely crippled me with anxiety this past week or so, which is why uploads have been later than promised. i simply just haven’t been able to sit down and edit for long because of what’s been happening. basically, about a week ago i started to get heart palpitations. i originally thought it would just pass, considering Ive experienced this before and i’ve already been diagnosed with extreme anxiety, so i wasn’t extremely surprised by it. but this time around, it was different because these palpitations weren’t coming in waves, they were constant and they weren’t going away. it’s been over a week now and i’m still experiencing it. if you’re not aware, heart palpitations basically mean that my heart is noticeably beating irregularly. it’s been impossible for me to ignore. i notice my heart beating constantly at the moment, i feel it in my throat, and it feels like it moves my whole chest when i get palpitations. this paired with some stinging chest/shoulder pains were just making my anxiety sky rocket. a few nights ago, i woke up in at around midnight gasping for air because it’s been difficult for me to breathe while laying down. i guess i wasn’t breathing properly in my sleep, but i woke up feeling like i was gonna faint, and it instantly sent me into the worst panic attack Ive ever had. my heart rate shot above 130, my whole body was shaking, i couldn’t stand, and i basically spent the entire night with my head between my knees because it was the only way i could slow my heart rate down and breathe properly. i didn’t sleep after that anxiety attack until the next night. the next day i went to the ER to get fully checked out because needless to say, i was terrified for my life. my ecg, blood work, and x rays came back good, thank god. but they recommended me to a cardiologist to look a little bit deeper because what i’ve been experiencing is obviously not normal. i had my appointment with the cardiologist today, where i had an ultrasound, and did some stress tests. once again, everything came back good, but the doctor noticed that i had an extra heart beat which obviously isn’t normal. the good news is that it’s not dangerous. but as the doctor put it, it can be an extremely annoying and scary thing to deal with when you don’t know why its happening. and he doesn’t know exactly what to make of it yet, so he’s sent me home with a heart monitor that im gna be wearing over the next few days, and he’s gonna look at the results and see if there’s anything we can do from there.
So that’s pretty much where im at now. im feeling a little less anxious now that i know im not in any serious danger. but i still feel super uncomfortable and its not a great feeling being able to constantly feel my heart skipping beats, or beating in bursts. but I was very happy to hear that this could potentially be something that goes away with time, and it’s not something i should be extremely concerned with.
So i hope you all understand the situation. i’m sorry for the lack of content, but this is why. its just felt crippling to have something going on with my heart and not know if I’m okay. but i genuinely do feel a lot better after seeing some doctors and its helped me get back to some normalcy the past day or two. still don’t feel great, but I was able to edit today and i’m hoping videos wont be interrupted again. just wanted to clue y’all in on the situation! thanks so much for patience, i love u guys❤️ AND NEW SHAMELESS EPS SHOULD BE UP DIS WEEKEND!!

I'm glad you're okay. I also have debilitating anxiety. So much so that I am now basically a hermit and I sleep most all day on my days off because work drains me. Thank you for informing us and I am sending you all the love and support that you need.

I have the same condition. I feel you. I hope you get better. You should really take it easy and steer away from stress.

Alex, man yes take care of yourself first and don't worry about us. I've experienced some bad heart palpitations that lasted awhile. Got all checked out, tests and everything and all was good. It turned out just to be anxiety attacks that I've learned to manage for the most part and medication if it gets really bad. I hope yours turns out to be nothing and that it passes quickly.

It does sound very frightening, and I’m glad to know it’s not as serious as you were afraid it might be. I hope that knowledge helps, and that nothing worrisome shows up in the future.

Wow that's scary! I wish you well and health comes first before anything else. Take care of yourself ❤️

I’m glad it isn’t anything too serious. I have heard of people that have the extra heartbeats. Now that you know what it is it should be easier to get used to. The unknown is the worst part. Don’t worry about us. Take whatever time you need to recover.

Oh man. Totally understandable. I would have freaked out too. Be well, my man x
