His dad didn't tell Vegas to stop and calm down. He told him to kill Pete, that's why he gave him that gun and said he should clean up the mess. And while I agree that Vegas deserved that slap, I would've accept it by Pete, Porsche, Kinn or any other character BUT his father. He slapped him because his gold mine deal crashed, not because of what he did to Pete. The father himself is prob the biggest reason for him being the way he is. Vegas grew up in the mafia where people getting tortured and killed is daily business and kinda normalized. While Kinn had his brothers and a father who at least trusts in him, Vegas has no one. His father made clear that he's worth nothing if he can't beat the major family. He wants him to beat Kinn. Prob because he was alway second to Korn and now he's putting it all on Vegas. His father is the one who sent him spying on Porsche and the major family. He is abusive towards him. While I agree, that Vegas def is psycho, he's also a broken soul, prob since he was a kid (which is kinda hinted with the book titel that Vegas reads. It doesn't excuse what he did to Pete. NOTHING could excuse that. I kinda understand where he's coming from tho which makes me conflicted about his character. I never liked ANY character in ANY series who behaved like that but it was different with Vegas when I watched KinnPorsche back then. Idk why and it's not rational, but he's really interesting for me and yes, I'm one of those who likes him, I guess it is the way it is, can't help it :D Also can we talk about that being the first role of the actor who plays Vegas? He nailed it. Saw some of the BTS stuff and interviews and he's actually quite introverted in real life and really sweet :)

just to clarify a couple of things , Vegas Dad asked him to not hurt Porsche and to clean up the mess meaning "Pete" when he gave Vegas the gun and just to give context as well Vegas and Pete knows each other a long time already before the start of the series otherwise your reaction to Vegas is just epic LOL and about whether or not people likes them, well , of course LOL , the reasons will have spoilers though , so until the next ep 😁
