Good to be with you here again, I am going to keep things concise since I am on the verge of falling asleep. I was gearing up for a release late September however my SSD died and it took about a little over of a month and a half of work. Work spread around 3 larger videos (Tifa,2b, Mavis) has been redone and only the very last bits of the Tifa movie needs to be completed. I’ve also prepared a few smaller videos in reaction to some of the announcements from recent games (New Hyzule Warriors/DMC SE Virgil).
I wanted to have this Mavis video released for Halloween however I underestimated how long it would take to render and edit. The 2b 4½ minute video is currently being voiced so it should be ready soon in the coming weeks (Pending VA). As for the Tifa movie I just need to reanimate cum and the outro shot, I might have to cut the Corneo flashback shot for the sake of time but I am not sure about that yet.
Once the Tifa movie is complete I am moving to blender. For the first few months I am just going to do small sfm videos and blender photo compositions. I can’t animate at first because I need to get used to blender and its mechanics. In addition I need to upgrade my system to use it appropriately since my average viewport fps is less than 10 and I don’t even want to think about render times. For the most part the faster I could get the most recent components coming out the faster I could get into animating.
I’ll make a post in my discord announcements with some more details regarding the topics above tomorrow. I know it hasn’t been easy but thank you for your continued support. Once this Tifa movie is done I should be more reactive in general considering smaller content doesn’t take an astronomical amount of time to complete. Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.

I tried to animate a 4 second loop but it was insanely choppy. My aim is for the 30 series card as well as a 5k series CPU so it probably wont be for awhile. Definitely, the prospect of working with blender really kept me motivated especially when my SSD died.

Yeah it wont be for a while but I do have a few videos I could revise and put a few hours into here and there but for the most part I'll be switching to smaller stuff for a short time.

Yeah I was at first but when I redid most of the animation I had a clear idea of what I was doing so it made the process slightly faster.

Damn, bummer to hear about the 10 FPS viewport in Blender, definitely not doable. Hopefully you can pick up a better PC over Black Friday. Still, looking forward to the switch to Blender eventually. I think you're gonna kick insane amounts of ass on Blender, considering you and noname are basically the only artist with the talent to make SFM look good
