The Storm Pirates Chapter 48 (Warlords of The Sea)
🕑 Added 2023-05-14 20:41:50 +0000 UTCAs Luffy and his crew trudge through the dense forest in the middle of the night, they find themselves enveloped in an inky blackness that seems to swallow everything in its path.
Suddenly, Luffy's voice pierces the silence, "It's pitch dark!" he exclaims, blinking rapidly to adjust his eyes to the absence of light. The rest of the crew, equally disoriented, looks around with a mixture of fear and curiosity, their senses heightened by the mysterious and eerie surroundings. As they press on, the only sounds are the rustling of leaves underfoot and the occasional hoot of an owl in the distance.
Sanji's patience had reached its limit as Usopp relentlessly clung to his blazer, pulling him towards an unknown direction. With a sharp tone, Sanji snapped at Usopp, "Quit pulling me!" However, Usopp was quick to defend himself, arguing that his hands were moving on their own, leaving Sanji perplexed and annoyed. The argument continued as Sanji tried to shake off Usopp's grip, but the latter's tenacity only grew stronger. Frustrated, the blond resorted to elbowing Usopp in the face, forcing him to let go.
Chopper let out a groan as he patted his bloated belly while glancing around the dark forest with a hint of fear, "My stomach's so full, I don't think I can chase birds," he remarked, trying to catch his breath.
Meanwhile, Luffy, the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, curiously wonders, "Where are these weird birds?!" as he leads the way through the dense thicket, his eyes scanning the treetops, searching for any unusual feathered creatures.
Zoro, with his green hair glistening under the sun, impatiently tapped his foot on the ground as he scanned the thick forest for the bird that had managed to elude them for far too long.
"Let's just catch the stupid bird so we can get back to drinking!" he exclaimed, his frustration evident in his voice.
Vivi, the beautiful princess with a sly smile, raised an eyebrow and corrected him, "Don't you mean the ship, Zoro?"
Zoro rubbed the top of his head in annoyance, his eyes darting toward the princess, "I said what I said," he grumbled, not wanting to engage in an argument.
The forest was dense, and the sun was already setting, casting a golden hue over the trees. The group had been searching for the rare bird for hours, and Zoro's impatience was understandable. The thought of a cold drink and a warm meal was enough to make anyone's stomach growl. As they walked deeper into the forest, the rustling of leaves under their feet was the only sound that broke the eerie silence.
Nami's voice pierced the forest's quiet as she demanded to know, "How did we wind up doing this so suddenly?!" Her eyes darted around, scanning the trees for any sign of the bird they were searching for.
Meanwhile, Sanji was clearly annoyed with Usopp's presence and kicked him away, causing the latter to rub his backside in pain.
"Man! Couldn't he have told us during the day?!" The coward grumbled, standing up. Amidst the commotion, Luffy shouted out into the darkness, "Hey, where are the birds?" His eyes scanned the treetops, hoping to catch a glimpse of their feathered target.
"If we knew where they were, we wouldn't be out looking for 'em!" The group had been wandering aimlessly in the forest for hours, searching for a rare and elusive bird species.
"Our only clue is that they have a weird call...." He says as the boys all circle around each other.
"And they look just like that gold statue...." Sanji adds.
"Are they really such dumb-looking birds?!" Zoro comments.
"Plus, "weird call" is way too vague! How're we supposed to know?" Usopp asks, with a finger on his chin.
"He said we'd know once we're in the forest...." The cook reminds the others, and the strangest noise they have ever heard comes from within the forest.
"At this point, we got no other choice!" Zoro declares.
"We have three nets. Let's split into three groups and search!" Sanji suggests, and the three boys clink their nets together.
"Right!" Storm Boy agrees and splits off with Chopper and Nojiko, and Sanji goes with Usopp and Nami, leaving Zoro, Robin, and Vivi. "Let's go! Let's beat up those weird birds!"
"You mean catch!" Usopp shouts after him, and they begin walking off in different directions.
Later
The dense forest was an eerie manifestation of shadow and light, their footsteps muted by the thick carpet of leaves underfoot. Vivi, with her keen eyesight, was keeping a close watch on Robin, who led the way ahead of them, gracefully hopping over the pickle-shaped boulder that lay in their path. Just as they were about to cross it, piercing screams echoed through the trees, causing Vivi's heart to race. "I hear screams," Robin informed the others.
Vivi still wasn't sure of her; Robin was untrustworthy to her and could easily backstab them whenever she found it to her advantage.
"Forget about 'em," he tells Robin, his voice dripping with nonchalance, as he proceeds to pack up the fallen creature, its long, black antenna twitching in his grasp.
"A centipede, huh? It's pretty damn big...." Robin, however, looks at Zoro with a mixture of pity and disappointment.
"It's not nice to kill everything. Poor thing..." she remarks softly, her gaze fixed on the creature lying motionless on the ground.
Zoro simply shrugs and drops the insect unceremoniously to the earth. "That's what it gets for trying to attack me," he tells Robin, a hint of amusement in his voice.
"I don't think it was trying to attack you," Vivi tells him, and he starts walking back the way they came.
"That's the path we just took here," She tells him, and the strange call comes again. "That bird call... This way." She rushes ahead. The ground became uneven, and they had to watch their step to avoid tripping over the rocks and roots that lay in their way. Robin warns them of the dangers ahead, pointing out a quagmire that they need to avoid.
"Hey! Wait for-!" He called after her, but it was too late. He had already stepped into the quagmire, sinking ankle-deep into the mud. Vivi rushes back to him, catching him before he could fall any further.
"Dummy!" Vivi scolds him, shaking her head in disbelief.
"It's not my fault!" He snaps back, feeling embarrassed at his mistake. Vivi raises her eyebrow at him, silently reminding him to be more careful in the future.
Later
Vivi is walking with Zoro when a few dozen mole crickets surround them. As the crickets kept on encircling them, Robin swiftly moved to the side, keeping a watchful eye on the situation. Zoro's frustration began to mount as he sliced through dozens of the creepy crawlies with ease, only to find that more kept appearing out of nowhere. "There's no end to 'em!" Zoro groans, bonking the poor insect on the head. "Why is your mole cricket army attacking me?! You're in the way! Do you think you can beat me?! Huh?!" He keeps hitting them on the head.
"I can hear it, but I can't see it...." Robin comments as another bird call comes from within the trees, and even more screams come from the others, and they begin to meet up with the others.
Later
"No luck. We couldn't even see a single one...." Vivi grumble as they all stand around with each other.
Suddenly, Vivi's sharp ears picked up the sound of rustling wings, and she looked up to see a strange-looking bird perched on a branch above them. Its feathers were a vibrant shade of purple, complemented by a crimson beak that seemed to curve upwards in a mischievous smile.
As they gazed up at the bird, its chest puffed up with pride, and it let out a boisterous cackle, almost as if it was mocking them. Confused by the bird's behavior, Vivi turned to Chopper to ask what the bird was saying. Chopper translated the bird's words for the group, "You really think you can catch us? Idiots!"
"What?! He came here to tell us that?!" Usopp snaps and rushes across the rest of them, getting his slingshot out of his pocket. "Dammit! I'll shoot you good!" The bird seems to be laughing, and suddenly arms appear out the side of its wings, wrapping it up, and another pops up on the branch, throwing the South Bird to the ground, much to their surprise.
"All I needed was to see one," Robin tells them with an innocent smile.
"Nice," Nami compliment her, and they head back to Cricket's place.
Marijoa
As the sun began to set over the majestic and holy land of Marie Geoise, the Five Elder Stars, the most esteemed and respected individuals in the entire world, convened an important meeting to discuss the latest developments and current events that had been unfolding within the vast and complex world they governed. Positioned at the center of the room was a Marine officer, their head bowed in deep reverence and respect as they knelt before the Elder Stars, fully aware of the gravity of the situation and the importance of the discussion that was taking place. Despite the overwhelming reverence and fear that they felt, the Marine officer made a conscious decision to avoid eye contact with the Elder Stars, knowing that even the slightest hint of disrespect or disobedience could have dire consequences.
Saturn had returned shortly after Cobra signed the deal with him. They knew the deal would be made public very soon; Vivi would no longer be a Princess and be executed for her crimes.
Suddenly, one of the elders exclaimed in shock, "What? Red-Hair?!" causing everyone to turn their attention to him.
The officer in charge confirmed the news, "Yes. He is acting disturbingly." The elders looked at each other, concern etched on their faces.
Another elder questioned, "But I assume he didn't take action himself?"
The officer shook his head, "No. He did so indirectly, using a messenger... But it's too dangerous for Whitebeard and Red-Hair to make contact!" He said with a small frown, his worry evident. The room fell into a tense silence as they all contemplated the severity of the situation.
"Yes, that is true. But Red-Hair is formidable only when agitated; he is not the type to change things about the world on his own," The Elder sitting in one of the green armchairs with a cane remarks. "Let us be patient and watch."
"The Seven Warlords of the Sea are more important now," The elder with glasses and a samurai sword says. " They must find a successor for Crocodile quickly. Do not underestimate his loss. The collapse of the Three Great Powers will fracture the world itself. Balance must be maintained."
Ah, indeed, sir," the officer responded with a sense of urgency in his voice. "We have summoned the Seven Warlords. However, as you know, these pirates are not known for their reliability or loyalty to any one cause. They are wild cards, unpredictable and dangerous, and it is impossible to know just how many of them will actually show up to answer our call." The elder with the scar, a seasoned veteran of many battles, picked up the bounty posters scattered across the table, his eyes scanning each one with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
"All of them will show up. They might be filthy pirates, but they know better than to go against 'Us.'" One spoke with authority; the other four nodded along.
"Damn you, Crocodile. You've put us in a dreadful situation... We can no longer let these man who killed you remain unchecked...and the woman, who is getting too close to the truth...." He places the poster back down. "Monkey D. Luffy." And the poster of Nico Robin. The poster was of Nico Robin when she was only a child, but the five elders had already ordered a new poster to be made.

"Have you informed Akainu yet?" Saturn asked the one with the Sword over his shoulder.
As the elder with the sword spoke, his voice echoed through the chamber, the resounding boom of his words filling the air with a sense of finality. "Yes, he will do the job," he said, his eyes narrowing as he looked towards the officer standing before him, "but as for Captain Smoker, we should execute him for the great offensive he has committed against 'Us.'" With a swift motion, the elder tapped the bottom of his sword on the floor, the sharp clang of metal against stone punctuating his words and emphasizing the severity of the situation.
"That won't be necessary." Saturn interrupted with a knowing gaze. "People most of all love stories of heroes overcoming evil. People around the world need a Hero. When people hear what the evil Crocodile did, they will want to know who killed the evil. People need to believe in Marine; Captain Smoker is the perfect candidate to take the credit for Crocodile's Downfall and become that hero. His words to 'Us' are naught but a child throwing a tantrum. Give him a new toy, and he will forget everything." Saturn spoke as he remembered his brief talk with one of the Nine Knights.
Navy HQ
As the sun began to rise over the shimmering waters of the bay, the imposing silhouette of Navy HQ came into view. In front of the dock, several large Marine ships had anchored, their mighty hulls towering above the waves like giants of the sea. As the ships bobbed gently on the water, the marine soldiers, resplendent in their crisp white uniforms, had formed two long lines stretching out from the dock like a pair of outstretched arms.
Their eyes were fixed firmly ahead as they awaited the arrival of the Five Warlords. As the sound of trumpets blared out over the water, the Warlords stepped off their ships and onto the dock, their faces stoic and determined. A red carpet was unveiled in the middle, the rich fabric unfurling like a river of blood as the Warlords walked through it, their every step seeming to shake the very foundations of the world. Many soldiers shivered in fear of the Warlords, knowing how powerful all of them were.
As the sun sets over the calm waters of the Grand Line, a female voice crackles over the radio, breaking the silence, "Navy HQ to Marie Geoise, come in." The voice belongs to a stern and confident woman, a high-ranking Marine officer responsible for the security of the holy land.
Her voice echoes through the corridors of the imposing Marine fortress, alerting her subordinates of the impending arrival of five notorious pirates.
"Donquixote Doflamingo, Jinbe, Gecko Moria, Boa Hancock, and Bartholomew Kuma of the Seven Warlords of the Sea have arrived," she announces, her tone betraying a mix of caution and excitement. She knows that these Warlords are not to be underestimated, each possessing unique abilities that make them formidable opponents.
Doflamingo, with his flamboyant attire and sinister smile, leads the group, followed closely by Jinbe, the stoic fishman with a reputation for strength and honor. Behind them, Moria, the undead master of shadows, glides silently while Hancock, the alluring Snake Princess, sashays past with regal grace. Finally, Kuma, the towering cyborg with the power of the Paw-Paw Fruit, brings up the rear, his steps heavy and deliberate. As they approach the towering building that houses the World Government's highest officials, the tension in the air is palpable.
Doflamingo is a very tall man with, light blond-haired, very lean, and muscular man with tan skin. He generally dresses in flamboyant clothes. In reference to his animal theme, the flamingo, his clothes are brightly colored, with his light pink feather coat most distinctly of all. Doflamingo sports a pair of curved, thin white sunglasses, which appear to serve as his eyesight with red or purple lenses.
He has a white shirt with red stripes, a green belt, and orange pants with white stripes. He also wears black dress shoes that are somewhat pointed.
Hancock is considered the most beautiful woman in the world. She has a well-proportioned figure. She is very tall and slender with long black hair that extends past her waist with locks of hair that frame her face down to her chin and shows off her high forehead, dark brown eyes with long, voluminous eyelashes, and pale skin. She has a narrow waist and very large breasts and with serpent earrings.
She was wearing a revealing red V-neck blouse that showed much of her chest and a loose sarong that exposed her long, slender legs with the green symbol of the Kuja adorned on it, along with a white cape sporting epaulets more commonly found on the jackets of high-ranking Marines and red high heel pumps.
As they walked through, many soldiers stared at Boa Hancock with pure lust, the woman who was said to be the most beautiful woman in the world. Boa looked at all of them, annoyed; this wasn't the first time men and even women had looked at her with lust, but something had happened that made her extra annoyed. Boa was tempted to use her abilities to turn the idiots into stone, to teach them a lesson, but decided to hold herself, especially after the threat she received.
Moria grumbled; they had taken him from his giant ship just to come to a meeting he wasn't needed for; all his corpses were left alone, but he knew better than to disobey him.
Moria is an abnormally large humanoid creature with very distinct, devil-like features. Standing at 692 cm in height, he was the tallest among the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
He has two horns protruding from the sides of his forehead and stitches running vertically from the top of his face and down his neck, which is rather long and thick compared to his body. His ears and teeth are both pointed, while his lower body is relatively fat and stubby in comparison.
Moria's hair is red, and his skin is a pale blue, matching his lips, armbands, and the edges of his gloves. His coat and gloves are black, while his pants are bright orange with pale window shapes imprinted on them. He wears a fishnet shirt underneath a cravat, a necklace, and a blue crucifix-like ornament with claw-like appendages sprouting out from three of the cross's points.
The soldiers quickly noticed that Mihawk was missing, some wondering if the world's strongest swordsman had decided to ignore them; no one would be surprised, though; despite no one saying it out loud, many believed that Mihawk was the strongest out of all Warlords.
Jinbei kept his head high, ignoring the glares from many soldiers and officers, but he was having trouble not thinking about what Whitebeard told him.
Jinbe is a large blue whale shark fish-man. His yellow eyebrows and sideburns are distinctly shaped like those found on such demons, in addition to a bulb-like nose and an angular lower lip pointing upwards. He possesses two tusk-like conical lower fangs; the rest of his teeth from the upper and lower rows are pretty much the same, albeit much smaller. He also has a severe underbite, which makes room for his huge fangs.
He has long, two-toned black hair with two long stripes coming from the roots over his forehead and trailing down the back, a topknot, and a tuft of hair on his chin with a slightly green hue.
Inside the building, the officers and vice admirals were waiting for the arrival of the five warlords; they were already informed that Mihawk was apparently missing, much to Sengoku's annoyance.
The quiet atmosphere of the waiting room was abruptly shattered. Without warning, one of them lunged at the other, grabbing him by the throat and squeezing tightly. "Hey! Stop! What are you doing?!" The sound of a scuffle filled the air as the pair stumbled backward, sending chairs crashing to the ground. Gasps of shock and fear erupted from the nearby bystanders as they watched the brutal altercation unfold before their eyes.
"No! My hands are moving on their own!" The officer cries out, trying to stop himself, but his arms aren't answering, as if they had a mind of their own.
"Don't be stupid! This is no time for jokes!" The other shouted as he kept trying to get his hands off him.
"I'm not joking! I can't control my body!" one of the officers shouted in fear, his voice shaking with terror.
The other officer, his face contorted with pain and fear, desperately tried to move the hands of the other officer around his throat. "The hell you can't...! I can't breathe!" he shouted, his voice hoarse and strained. The two officers were locked in a struggle for control, their bodies writhing and twisting in a frantic dance of fear and desperation.
"Knock it off! What do you think you're doing?!" The onlooking officer shouts at the pair of them.
"Doflamingo! This is your doing! Stop it at once!" One shouts at the blond pirate, looking over to see him sitting on the balcony railing, wiggling his fingers around as he uses his strings to move the Marine. Tsuru looks at all of them, annoyed, wondering if she should intervene.
"Then start talking already, or I'll end this lousy get-together!" Doflamingo warns them, moving his arm forward and making the officer reach for his saber at his waist, pulling it free, and the other does the same in defense.
"Hey! You idiot! Stop!"
"Stop! Make him stop, Doflamingo! Damn, you!" Before it could escalate further, suddenly, a powerful blast of Conqueror's Haki erupted and surged throughout the space like an unstoppable wave. It hit every Warlord present with varying degrees of intensity; some managed to control it with ease, while others struggled to maintain their composure. Doflamingo was not exempt from its effects. He felt the full force of the blast, causing him to stumble slightly as his body struggled to keep up with the sudden shock, and the Fleet Admiral slammed the doors open, stopping the mayhem.
The room fell silent as he glared directly at Doflamingo, who had stopped smiling now.
"Enough!" Sengoku snaps as he walks into the room with his trusty pet goat. "Don't be fools! Did you come here to start a war?!" He warns, and his dear goat seems to agree. "Oh, pardon my late welcome. Thank you for coming, scum of the sea."
Sengoku is a tall, fair-skinned, and muscular man with a long, braided goatee and a mustache. He is usually seen alongside his pet goat. His cap covers his hair, which is set in a large afro.
He typically wears black-rimmed glasses and a white and gold full Marine admiral uniform adorned with medals. The most distinctive features of this uniform are a life-size seagull on top of his cap and his oversized Marine coat, which he wears like a cape. His coat has the kanji for justice, in blue, emblazoned on the back, and has unique colored cuffs, with his being white.
"On, my. Listen to the big shot talk...." Doflamingo chuckles, lowering his arm to his side, and Kuma closes his bible; the other warlords settle down, and the Marines sit at the large round table.
"Let us begin. I doubt Mihawk will come," Sengoku remarks with an authoritative tone.
"I bet. I didn't plan to come either, but my island's business is going well...." The blond remarks and climbs onto the table, sitting. "...that I came out of sheer boredom."
"I see. That's disconcerting to hear. Nothing is as depressing to us as a booming pirate industry." He digs at the Warlord, making him laugh.
"You're quite in your face! You betray the "Saint" in your name, Fleet Admiral Sengoku!" Donquixote sneers with a smile, and the sound of footsteps grows closer.
"I'm afraid your little business will be snuffed out soon." another voice broke the silence, causing everyone to turn their heads and catch a glimpse of none other than Garp himself, strolling in with a wide grin plastered across his face. The mere presence of the legendary Hero of the Marines was enough to make even the most seasoned Warlord feel a little uneasy; even Doflamingo lost a bit of confidence in his voice. Sengoku was a man of words first and actions second; Garp, on the other hand, always loved to take a direct approach to literally everything.
Doflamingo's eyes were narrowed behind his glasses as he demanded, "What is that supposed to mean, Marine?" His voice was laced with a hint of annoyance and impatience.
As Garp confidently strode into the room, the bratty child's angry glare didn't even register on his face. Instead, he sauntered over to a luxurious Royal Couch and sank into its plush cushions before reaching for a freshly glazed donut. All eyes were on him, waiting with bated breath for him to speak. Even Doflamingo couldn't help but feel his annoyance growing as Garp deliberately took his sweet time before finally answering. With every passing second, the tension in the room grew thicker, and yet Garp remained completely unfazed, savoring each bite of his delicious treat as if he had all the time in the world.
"These Donuts are amazing, Sengoku. Make sure to bring me more." Garp said casually while looking at Doflamingo with a grin, almost challenging him to do something; the latter almost growled until Sengoku finally decided to talk.
"Admiral Akainu has been sent to Mock Town to kill every pirate he finds there," Sengoku explained with a little shrug, much to Doflamingo's shock, Doflamingo's fists clenched in anger, his mind racing as he contemplated his next move. He knew that crossing paths with Admiral Akainu would be a death sentence.
Everyone could feel the tension; Boa, who was leaning back against the couch, was hoping either Doflamingo or Sengoku would attack one another; this meeting was too boring for her. "Do you have anything against it, Pirate?" Sengoku questioned with narrowed eyes, his voice firm and commanding, looking directly at Doflamingo.
"...No." Doflamingo reluctantly answered; Boa moaned in annoyance; it seemed this meeting would be as dull as she thought it would be.
"Why are we here, Fleet Admiral?" Boa Hancock queried, her voice laced with honeyed tones that could easily ensnare any man's heart. She stood before Sengoku, offering one of her sweet smiles that could make any man fall to their knees for her. However, the Fleet Admiral's stoic expression remained unchanged, barely affected by her beauty. On the other hand, Vice Admiral Garp looked more than annoyed by what she was trying to do; his eyebrows furrowed in disapproval. Despite the tension in the air, Boa Hancock remained unfazed, her gaze unyielding as she awaited a response from the Fleet Admiral. "I have better things to do than waste time," she added, her tone betraying a hint of impatience. Hearing her words, Tsuru crossed her arms.
"Better things you say. I'm sure you are not talking about the only thing you're good at, showing off your body like a whore." Tsuru spoke indifferently towards Boa; the latter glared at the old hag.
"No one asked you, old hag." Boa retorted, knowing her beauty did not affect the old hag who rubbed the inside of her ear with her little finger while leaning against the wall.
"I'm only stating out the obvious. All you do is deceive your people, making them think you're worth a damn. The only reason they follow you is because they believe you and your sisters are cursed and because of your beauty, of course." Tsuru spoke bluntly, making Boa stand up, glaring at the old woman furiously; Boa looked like she wanted to kill Tsuru.
Sengoku sighed in annoyance, ready to tell Tsuru to stop it, while Garp seemed interested in what would happen between the two as he ate another donut.
"I hear dreary bickering...." Dracule suddenly spoke, alarming everyone of his presence. "Did I perhaps come to the wrong place?" He questioned.
"Hawk-Eye!" The Marine officers gasped as Mihawk was leaning against the door.
"The Navy HQ and the Seven Warlords of the Sea. That roundtable seems meaningless for those two opposing powers," He remarks as he walks towards the others.
"Oh, my! A most unexpected man has arrived!" Doflamingo comments with a wide grin, looking at the World's Greatest Swordsman.
"Ohh, Mihawk, do you want to join my crew? Perhaps, my ship is perfect." Gecko Moria offered with a wide grin towards Mihawk, who looked ready to slice him in half.
"Not really interested in a rooting corpse, especially after the number Kaido did on you," Mihawk spoke with a side gaze towards the big Warlord, who clenched his teeth in anger; he looked as if he wanted to attack, especially after Mihawk mentioned Kaido.
"Don't tell me you're...." Sengoku tries to ask but stops himself.
"No, I'm simply an onlooker here. I'm a bit interested in some pirates involved with the issue at hand. That's all," Mihawk confesses, thinking about the stupid Luffy and his even stupider Swordsman. He still remembers Luffy's promise, he knew it would take time until Luffy was truly stronger than him and for him to join his crew, but Mihawk knew he could wait a bit longer.
"In that case, I, too, am an onlooker... Is that acceptable?" A voice echoes through the room, and they all look over to see the new person. "Well, I suppose I'm not exactly an "onlooker"..."
"Who are you?! How did you get in here?!" The Marine in the purple suit demands, glaring at him.
"But what a truly eminent-looking group you have here... I've come in the hopes...." Laffitte says and begins tap dancing on the spot, making the blond in pink look at him in annoyance. "...that I will be allowed to join in your meeting...if at all possible. I believe you have lost Crocodile and are now looking for a successor?"
"You...! Are you Laffitte?!" The Marine in the brown suit asks the newcomer.
"Laffitte?" Sengoku asks, not recognizing him, looking at the man with a calculating look.
"Oh, you know my name?" The said-man questions, spinning his cane behind his back. "I'm quite honored!"
"He was a well-known peace officer in West Blue! He was chased from his country for being excessively violent!" The Marine explains, making Laffitte laugh.
"That was long ago. Who I am is of no importance! I've come to recommend a certain man for the Seven Warlords of the Sea." He declares.
Moby Dick
Further, within the Grand Line on Moby Dick, Whitebeard, and his crew look at the newest member of Shanks' crew, they all were expecting Shanks himself to come, but instead, he had sent a little brat.
"Shanks... That name brings back memories... So this is a letter from him?" Whitebeard questions as he sits in his chair, hooked up to IVs.
"Yes. It appears important, so he gave it to me to deliver!" Rockstar tells him, seeming proud of himself, but everyone could see the sweat rolling down his cheek, especially in the presence of the Strongest Men in the World.
"I see! Well done, then!" The Captain patronizes him.
"No, I'm still new to the Red-Haired Pirates... Though I was a pirate before that, and I think I made a bit of a name for myself... Hey! You guys heard of Rockstar, right?!" He asks two of Whitebeard's men.
"Nope. Never heard of 'im," One spoke with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Anyway, the Sea King tasted great...." They laugh, and Whitebeard has enough and rips up the letter.
"Hey! What are you-?!" Rockstar gasps, seeing him ripping the letter of his captain.
"Sending me a damn letter... When did that kid stoop to being such a big shot?!" Whitebeard snaps, dropping the pieces of paper, and the newcomer catches one while slightly shaking in fear.
"Hey! Hold on, now! This is Red-Hair you're dealing with! Are you sane in the head?!" He snaps, looking up at the big man.
"I'm Whitebeard!" His announcement echoed throughout the ship, bouncing off the walls and causing the sails to flutter in the breeze. Taking a deep swig of his frothy beer, he grinned from ear to ear.
"Captain, that's probably enough alcohol for now..." However, her words seemed to go unnoticed by the captain, who was in high spirits, reveling in the joyous atmosphere of the ship. Despite her best efforts to scold him and bring him back to his senses, the captain continued to drink, and the nurse couldn't help but worry about the consequences of his actions.
"Fool! Something you drink when you wanna drink can't be bad for you!" Whitebeard scolds his nurses; he slams his tankard down on the armrest of his chair, causing droplets of ale to spill onto the floor.
"My boss said this was an urgent letter!" Rockstar exclaims with a hint of anger.
"I have a good idea what it's about. Ace and Blackbeard. Tell that kid Red-Hair that if he wants to talk to me, to come here himself, and with some good booze, too! Now go! I don't feel like talkin' with snot-nosed runts, you buffoon." He dismisses the newcomer, even hooked up to IVs, looking extremely intimidating.
Whitebeard growled slightly, thinking of Blackbeard and Ace; he hadn't heard of his son for quite a while; even his girlfriend apparently didn't know where Ace had gone too.
Shanks
Rockstar calls his captain and begins explaining what happened to him, who can't help but laugh. As the snowflakes continued to fall around them, Shanks found himself sitting comfortably with his closest crewmates, sharing a laugh as they watched the rest of the party revel in the icy cold weather.
"The old man hasn't changed!"
Despite the biting chill in the air, the camaraderie and warmth between the group of pirates was palpable as they shared stories, drinks, and memories of their time at sea.
"This is no laughing matter, Boss!" Rockstar exclaims over the other line.
"Nah, I had an inkling this happen," He tells him, knowing Whitebeard well enough.
"Give me a little more time! I've never been insulted like this before!" The newcomer yells, not liking how it went earlier on Moby Dick.
"Hey, now! What're you planning to do? Forget about it! Thanks for your help. You can come straight back now," Shanks tells him calmly.
"B-But, I have my pride...!" He tries reasoning with his captain.
"Your life is more important than your pride. There's nothing you can do now. Sorry for all the trouble," The Captain replies and looks at the others.
"So, what're you gonna do, Boss?" Lucky asks him after finishing his mouthful.
"I'm going. Prepare to set sail!" Shanks declares, his voice suddenly serious.
"To see Whitebeard?!" Benn asks him, making sure.
"Yep, that's right!"
"Do you think the government will keep quiet if you do that?" His first mate questions.
"This is no time for that," Shanks dismisses it with a wave of his hand, getting to his feet. "It's no big deal. The government probably won't stay quiet...but if they're gonna get in our way, we won't stay quiet, either!"
"Men! It's battle time!" Lucky cheers, along with the rest of the men.
"Alright! Get some top-quality alcohol ready!" He tells them, and Benn warily follows behind him.
Sengoku
Back with the Marines and six Warlords, looking at Laffitte tells them of his captain, and after everything was said, Sengoku didn't look that impressed. "Teach?" Sengoku repeats, not really recognizing the name.
"Yes. The captain of our pirate crew," Laffitte confirms.
"Never heard of him. Some random, unknown guy would be no threat to other pirates." The Fleet Admiral remarks; while Garp narrows his eyes, he recognizes the name from Isuka.
"Yes, we realize that. To that end, we are carefully devising a plan, so I ask for a little more time." He suggests with a greedy smile while rubbing his hands together.
"Interesting! Come on! Let them try, Sengoku!" Doflamingo chuckles.
"We are the Blackbeard Pirates. Please remember that name...."
Luffy
After catching the annoying bird, as they turned to head back to the strange monkey people they had encountered earlier, a sudden change in the atmosphere caught their attention. Luffy felt a tingling sensation on his skin and noticed a significant increase in the temperature around them. Despite the fact that it was the middle of the night, the heat was so intense that he couldn't help but wonder if the trees in the surrounding forest would suddenly burst into flames from the incredible heat.
"What is going on?" Usopp shouted; his face was slick with sweat, his heart hammering in his chest like a drumbeat. The only ones not sweating were Nami due to her Devil Fruit, and Nojiko, too, seemed unfazed by the sweltering weather, her face calm and composed.
As they emerged from the tree line, their eyes widened in surprise and horror at the sight that greeted them. Before them, the once serene landscape was now consumed by chaos and destruction. A raging inferno blazed across half the island, its fiery tendrils licking at the sky with a fierce intensity. The flames had engulfed Mock Town, reducing buildings to mere ashes and leaving nothing but devastation in their wake. The sound of crackling flames and the acrid smell of smoke filled the air, creating an eerie, surreal atmosphere.
"O-Only one can do t-this?" Her voice was filled with fear, causing it to tremble like a leaf in the wind.
"Who?" Luffy demanded, knowing this wasn't an enemy he could take lightly.
"Admiral Sakazuki!!"

lol I see you added in the new group that was just revealed which Shanks may or may not be a part of which is the 9 knights. One Piece sure is getting good now with all the shit going down and I really can't wait for the showdown between Shanks and Teach that's going to be epic as hell. You need to keep Ace alive you can have him and the rest of the White Beard crew become a part of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet or something like that since you're almost sure to kill off White Beard since his death is an important one that somewhat needs to happen unless you can somehow steal his fruit without killing him but then you'd weaken him significantly but w/e it's your story so I have no clue how you're going to handle things lol
