Re Harem: Luna definitely fits in this story as either a best friend or partner for Harry - I can see her immediately going up to Itisa and them forming a bond too. Like Daphne as well with Slytherin being his house, they can become close easier in this story. I don’t think Hermione fits in this story as a partner - without the sorting they aren’t going to be able to realistically develop the same bond they had in Force of Magic - the romantic pairings should feel somewhat realistic - like Tonks and Hermione in FoM feel perfectly formed in how they have come together so far. Daphne and Luna 100% feel like they could be similar. An interesting OC idea could be a grandaughter of Newt Scamander that he meets soon - if Dumbledore does get involved he would certainly call Newt in to see about the Bond between Harry and Itisa. Newt had a Nundu in his suitcase in the first movie that he could approach so that might work? Just a couple thoughts Thanks for the update, can’t wait to see what’s next

Attacking a walking Nuke seems counter intuitive especially when it was in a small feline form - that should have at least signified there wasn’t an immediate threat - guess it’s hard to think fast rationally in that type of situation but it went as bad as it possibly could have without Itisa killing Ted or Nym. Hope this doesn’t drag out since it’s only once a month updated 😭

I’m glad you liked it. As far as Ted knew, Nundus cannot be tamed, and are walking Nukes. So he attacked.

The next Chapter will have a more calm, but at the same time terrifying meeting with Itisa.

A Nundu is very powerful; his daughter was there, so he did something without thinking first. And as Andromeda states later, as far as everyone knows, Nundus are not animals that can be tamed, so the thought that perhaps the Nundu wouldn’t attack didn’t even cross his mind. After arriving at his home, he realizes he should not have attacked Itisa.

I say big harem. Also Ted was exceptionally fucking stupid here. He sees a Nundu which is a known wizard killer and is said to require 100 wizards to kill (of which about 40 will typically be killed in the battle) and he thinks lobbing spells in an otherwise calm situation is the correct choice. Kinda disappointing.

Gotta love the knee jerk reactions, you’d think someone with a muggle background would assess the situation before attacking a creature that a dozen wizards could not stop. You’ve really shown how cerebral challenged wizards become after a Hogwarts education. Another amazing chapter and look forward to seeing how they get themselves out of this mess!
