Viserys wanting peace above all else invites weakness, but he is right about one thing. A war would be expensive and the Dornish are not weak. They should take some time to prepare their forces for a long, protracted war even as they plan for a quick punch. For example, Aenar can see if he can get Northern forces for an advance into Dorne, boost numbers.

If this didn't convince Viserys to give Aenar his blessing to marry Rhaenyra and Laena then he's even more stupider then we realized. But I would love to see Aenar fighting the Sword of Morning if it comes to a full invasion of Dorne but I believe it won't come to that if they just focus on the triarchy and dealing with Alucard Martell. It appears that Alicent or even The club foot might have given them the Wildfyre

I rewrote Aenar’s speech like ten times until I got it right. I hope it was good. Would you believe me if I said Alysanne wasn’t there because I completely forgot to write her in? There will be more Hightower being put in their place.

I loved the speech with Aenar. It just showed to everyone in the room what a worthy King he could be and even become an even greater King than Jaehaerys would have wanted for him to become. I also liked the bit where Rhaenys put Alicent in her place, I was wondering where Alysanne was cause I had remembered she was at the Leanor's funeral? But nice chapter and would like to see even more of Alicent and House Hightower being put in their places
