I can't see why witcher training would help him control his Targaryen blood. Not really how witcher training works, not to mention I can't see why a witcher would show up for said training. Jon is also to old and lacks the augmentations needed for witcher training to actually mean something.

Wouldn’t it be better for Jon to know his heritage so he doesn’t start to resent his uncle especially if the story is going the tv show way without him heading to the wall. Ned really did stupid things before he died.
