Amazon Apocalypse: Chapter 14

“We’ll be making the rest of the journey on foot,” I told Sarah as I unbuckled her.
“Thank you,” Sarah said as I ran around the car and undid the latch on her door. “I’m sorry I’m so helpless.”
“I’m more than happy to help,” I smiled. “Besides, you can make up for it in your wolf form.”
“That’s right,” Regina nodded. “If we’re traveling on foot, I can make better time than either of you. Hop in my saddle after I transform.”
Regina helped Sarah wiggle out of her clothes and put them in with the other luggage. She stood between Sarah and me while the latter blushed and transformed into the massive golden-furred wolf I’d seen before.
Soon, her transformation was finished, and Sarah pressed her belly to the ground so Regina and I could climb on her back. It was a strange thought to know I was riding on top of the lovely young women I’d been talking to just a few minutes before.
Her wolf form was far sturdier than I expected though, and the saddle on her back was better crafted than I expected. It was made a little small for two humans, but we settled ourselves there as comfortably as we could.
Sarah shrugged her shoulders, offering us the reins attached to the bit in her mouth. It felt almost rude to use them, but Regina and I appreciated having something to hold on to since this was our first warg ride.
Once we were seated on her back, Sarah’s wolf-like face turned to look at me, as though to ask me where we were headed.
I pointed up the mountain, and she nodded and started going in that direction.
We traveled through the woods even faster than we’d driven those cars. With the vehicles, we’d been restrained to traveling slow over muddy and winding dirt paths, but Sarah kept our path straight and true. The journey that had taken Regina and me an entire day that first night ended up only being a few hours.
Eventually, I started recognizing my surroundings, and I pulled on Sarah’s reins. She obeyed the command with the speed of a well-trained mount, slowing her pace. I directed her towards the concealed entrance to my bunker, and Regina and I slid off her back.
In her wolf form, Sarah helped us pull the brush and branches away to reveal the entrance to my bunker, and I opened the hatch, pleasantly surprised that nothing came out to attack us.
“Home sweet home...” Regina sighed. “What I wouldn’t do for a nice bath.”
I chuckled. “No such luxuries here. I do have a basin and a washcloth, though if you’d care for a sponge bath. That’s about the best I can offer.”
“That sounds wonderful, Carter,” Sarah said once she was finished transforming into a human. Regina rushed to cover her, but Sarah seemed to get over her shyness at appearing before me, bound and naked. I assumed that she was trusting me and gave her a warm smile as she followed me into the camper.
I dug out the bathing supplies and tapped some of the water that had drained into a secret basin I’d buried along with the rest of my bunker. It was a collection of fifty-gallon drums filled with sand that drained into another drum. I’d never gotten the water from it quite clean enough to drink straight from the sand filter without boiling, but it would be clean enough for a bath.
“You’ll need my help,” Regina said to Sarah as she pulled the younger woman behind the curtain in the back of the bunker.
I settled down to clean my guns and store all the powder. These weapons were my ticket to leveling quickly before the Apocalypse was truly underway, and I wanted them in perfect shape.
That flintlocks had a habit of blowing the user’s hand off when not maintained helped motivate me, too.
So I cleaned my guns to the sound of Regina scrubbing Sarah down. I expected the two ladies to take a while washing up. Sarah’s harness had to be hard to work around, and Regina struck me as the type to take long showers.
Sarah stumbled out of the back room with her hair hanging loose and wet around her head. She had a towel tied loosely around her neck, covering the bare skin of her breasts and shoulders. I couldn’t help but glance down and notice that the towel was only just long enough to cover the gap between her thighs.
“Your turn, Carter!” Regina said from behind the sheets.
“Make yourself at home,” I said to Sarah as I walked to the curtained-off backroom.
Regina was there, hair still dripping wet with a towel wrapped around her waist. She had a freshwater basin ready for me and a pair of sponges in her hands.
“Thank you for getting this ready for me, Regina,” I said as I took the sponges from her. “Sarah might need someone to comfort her and help her get settled. Maybe set up another bed for the both of you?”
Regina didn’t leave. “You’ll need someone to help you wash your back. I already did, Sarah, so I should do you as well.”
“You don’t have to do that.” I started shaking my head, but Regina was already tugging at my shirt. Inwardly, I shrugged, uncertain why Regina was so insistent on this.
“Pants too.” Regina insisted.
“You sure you want to...”
“Sarah undressed much faster than this.” Regina huffed.
I frowned at that. Sarah had already been naked.
A few weeks ago, I might not have been so eager. But the points I’d gained had done wonders for me. Higher constitution had made me healthier, higher dexterity made me agile, and higher strength had put some muscle on my thin frame. I’d looked at myself in the mirror a few times and wondered at my new appearance. And the last time I’d taken a leak told me the improvements covered my whole body.
At the end of the day, I wasn’t feeling shy in the least. So I pulled my pants off and kicked off my shoes. This wasn’t the old world where men and women needed to be modest and shy. Maybe something like this would help Regina loosen up a bit more around me.
“One complaint,” I said as I put one hand around the towel wrapped around Regina’s waist. “Sarah couldn’t have washed your back. If you’re doing me, then I’ll do you.” I pulled the towel down, revealing Regina’s new body to the open air.
Her unnaturally azure hair spilled over her bare shoulders and cupped her breasts. Her transformation to oni had given her long and luscious legs. They were hard but smooth like a polished statue, and her flawless beauty would have been doll-like if not for the tough ruggedness she now wore about her.
Her stomach was taught, and firmer than an office worker’s should have been. The skin barely contained the tight fibers of muscle hidden just beneath her skin. I brushed some of that inhuman azure hair aside to see where her red oni horn jutted out of her skin.
She was gorgeous, despite the inhuman addition to her form. I licked my lips, not bothering to hide the fact that I appreciated the look of her body.
I stared freely because while my eyes roamed her naked form, hers roamed mine, taking in the strapping shoulders and defined abdominal muscles I’d grown over the last few days.
My arms weren’t quite tree trunks, but I looked less like I worked behind a computer screen and more like I spent six hours in the gym every day.
“We’ve leveled a lot over the past few days,” I whispered to her. “This is the result of our hard work. It’s something to be proud of.”
“It’s just... strange is all. You’re my employee! I could get sued for this.” Regina pouted. “Or at least I could have if the courts were still working.”
“We’re all going to have to get comfortable here, Regina. She’s got nowhere to stay but here. If things work out, we’ll be together a long time. We can’t be shyly blushing all the time. What will happen if I take an arrow to the butt and need one of you to pull it out?”
That brought a small smile to Regina’s face, and I used that opportunity to dip my sponge into the bowl of clean, soapy water and start rubbing it up and down Regina’s back. She’d already done a good job of cleaning herself, so the sponge came away nearly clean.
“What attribute made that thing so bit?” Regina asked, nudging my half-hardened cock with her knee.
I laughed. “I wish I knew. If I did, I’d be dumping a dozen more points into that stat to see what happens.”
Moments later, Regina joined me in amusement. The tension between us melted, and Regina let my sponge roam her body freely.
She was pretty clean already, so I could have finished there. But Regina had her eyes closed, enjoying the feeling of the sponge brushing against her skin. I didn’t want to disturb her relaxed, meditation-like state, so I continued wiping her down.
I felt the tension seep out of her back and shoulders. She relaxed more and more, letting herself sag against me. A content sigh escaped her lips, and a smile covered her face.
She let herself fall back for a moment with a look of bliss on her face as her back pressed against my chest. I held her there in my arms for a long moment, hands wrapping around her waist. She grew tense for an instant, and her hands went to mine.
A few breaths passed as we held that position, and the pulse on her temple told me of a war being waged within her mind. One part of her was telling her to pull my arms off her and that this wasn’t appropriate. Another had been waiting for this very moment and couldn’t stand the thought of it ending.
She pulled my hands off me and opened her eyes, staring deeply into mine. I was certain she was going to say something about how this wouldn’t work, but she pressed her face against mine.
My lips locked with hers, and we kissed like two lovers in the heat of the moment. Our bare bodies pressed against one another, and a flush filled Regina’s cheeks. Her oni horn especially filled with the color of lust.
“Carter...” Regina said, breaking our kiss for a brief moment to look me in the eyes again. A thousand thoughts flashed behind her eyes, followed by a thousand questions. She wasn’t sure how this would work with us, or what it would mean for the future.
I answered her by wrapping my arms around the small of her back. I pulled her closer to me, pressing her bare skin against mine. Her breasts pressed against my chest, nipples growing harder by the moment in anticipation of more. Her breathing quickened, and her lips grew plump as her eyes focused only on me.
She twisted, and one of her long legs wrapped around my back while she cupped my cheek with one hand and the back of my neck with the other.

"Regina, are you sure?" I asked her with short and quick breaths. I felt like there was so much more to say but our bodies were speaking more than our mouths. My mind couldn't focus enough to form the words to express what I was feeling, and I could tell from the look in Regina's eyes that she felt the same.
"Dummy," Regina said, then pulled me in for another kiss.
While my mouth pressed against hers I felt her hand reach between us towards the hard head of my shaft that she'd been grasping earlier. She tugged its length again, and I felt her pull me closer towards her.
Before long, my head was pressed up against something warm and wet. My shaft flicked against her feminine folds, and I felt her body tense as she guided me into her.
I didn't need to be guided from there. If Regina was sure this was what she wanted, then I was happy to oblige. I pushed my cock forward, penetrating her body even as I pierced that emotional barrier that had hung between us for so many years.

"From now on, we've got to stick together." I whispered as I slowly pushed deeper. I felt my full length press against her and we sat there locked together, heartbeats pulsing in synchrony.
"You're mine," Regina said.
"And you're mine. Forever and always."
"Yes."
That was all I needed to hear. I planted a kiss on her cheek and thrust into her again, watching her face turn pink with embarrassment and pleasure.
She melted under my touch, and I loved every minute of it. Her eyes rolled up in her head as she reached the peak of pleasure. Neither of us had time to ourselves since the apocalypse began with the other constantly nearby. We were both far too needy and far too sensitive.
This sudden outlet brought us to the heights of climax far too quickly. Regina threw her head back, struggling to muffle her moan as her body thrummed with pleasure. I felt myself reach my own peak and just barely managed to pull out in time to spray my load all over her bare stomach.
All energy left my body and I collapsed to the ground. I sprawled there next to Regina, unable to move except to wrap her in my arms.
Regina turned to look at me. "I'm adding a new duty to your job title."
I planted a kiss on her cheek. "I think I can guess what it is."

I had to sneak in this scene eventually. We're roughly at the point where people might start to question whether or not this is a harem novel if I don't have an explicit scene around here, and it's about time for this character thread to progress. Normally, I'd leave this kind of thing to a vote but it needs to happen for the good of the story, so manual author override!
Next up we're going to vote on what Carter's going to focus on next. The old options are still available. Comment below if you guys have any new ideas for what Carter should do.
- Upgrade the bunker to outpost
- Fight to gain levels
- Leave the bunker to explore/scavenge/look for another Amazon candidate.

Deal with the goblin threat and rescue Sarah's friends. It just doesn't look good to have goblins have possession of humans and for MC to do nothing about it. Also he would gain crap load of levels.

That’s kinda what I’m aiming for, it it could be completing the Amazon token’s quest to. The thing about relationship and team building is that except for explicit scenes I can usually get other scenes to do double duty and handle both simultaneously.

Building the relationship up and teamwork between him, Sarah and Regina. It feels like dealing with the goblins is the most important thing as it would help complete the defeat a magic user quest given one the goblins created Sarah's bindings. Though destroying the goblin camp may make a good climax to the book.
