Comela riding her wyvern into battle! (Spellheart)

This image depicts Comela riding on the back of the wyvern queen.
She is admittedly sexier than I imagined. She is Theo's kid, so I kinda imagined her as a dopy-faced teenager. But she is technically an adult by elven standards, and I suppose if you order a dozen drawings of sexy babes from an artist, he won't take you seriously when you say, "make her attractive, but not too hot. This young woman is someone's daughter!"
I suppose this is more accurate for anyone not looking at her through Theo's eyes, and it might change the way I picture her a bit when writing.
The wyvern looks pretty badass, too. That thing is ready to eat some enemies of the Hearthwood.

Yeah, the artist went for some super long ears. I did say she was a half-elf, but I guess the artist's idea of a full elf's ears are even longer! It's hard to judge when something is wrong and when it's just a distinctive element of the artist's style. I don't like to micromanage artists too much, as that can be annoying and expensive (in both time and money). Eventually, Theo will have to come to accept his little girls growing up and forming relationships... just not anytime soon. (And yes, all of Theo's daughters are definitely smoking hot. Just don't tell him I said that.)

This is pretty good. Not thinking about it being Comela and just seeing it without context, I'd definitely think she was smoking hot here. And if we're being honest, all of Theo's daughters probably are that smoking hot with the way elves manifest fully grown, with any discomfort anyone feels being due to us inserting ourselves as Theo and imagining them as our own kids. I actually feel a little bad for them, knowing that for years to come they won't be able to have relations with a member of the opposite sex until Theo finally reaches the stage of not noticing years passing after living for thousands and only checks in personally every few decades. Though he probably won't be half as bothered by them having girlfriends, just like he didn't get upset about the girls born when he was with the orcs going around training his prisoners. It's relatable, but entirely subjective. Also, her ears should be shorter, right? That's about the length I'd imagine the elves being, but I'd expect the half-human ones to be more like Tolkien elven ears or Vulcan ears.
