From left to right, we have Princess Tivana, Baroness Jynna, The Queen, and Countess Frostweaver.
The artist did a great job with this one, and I'm happy with how the characters came out. At some point I may have a colorist go over them, but that is budget-dependent.

My loose guess right now is a September release. It really depends on editing though. The book is done, it just needs to be edited, proofed, formatted, and approved. Ideally, it would come out after Paladin of the Sword.

Not sure which one he meant, but I'm curious about roughly when you think Spellheart 7 will come out. Super excited for it. Also, the queen looks super conniving and evil in this pic. Interested to see her return and impact.

These look awesome, I can’t wait to “see” the queen come out of seclusion. I can just imagine Dean being a dad to her, it would be so cute. Even punishing Frostweaver.

Well if you were trying to explain it through google translate, it's a wonder they look anything close to what you wanted. They look pretty damned good in that case.

They should be, but that didn’t quite get through the language barrier. Idk what google translate was making of “elves”.

Nice. Did Jynna really have such well defined abs? The queen also looks like she'll be trouble if she ever crawls out of wherever she's hiding as she tried to break through. As for Frostweaver if her design is at all accurate you'd think she was just waiting for Theo to upturn her plans and slap a collar on her. If it's accurate. I always pictured her looking a hell of a lot more petty and self-entitled.

Yeah, the characters look great. I'm pretty sure the background is a photo of a church put through a grayscale filter, but I'm not going to complain considering I only paid $200 for the whole thing. That was a really, really good deal for four characters like this. At some point, I'd like to take a crack at the light novel genre with internal images and more anime-inspired themes. Plus, the genre is only 50-90k word books, which I could potentially release monthly if I dropped down to those lengths and was willing to hire a copy editor.

Damn, this is amazing work; even more detailed than the cover page imo. And yea, it's definitely nice to get an idea of what they look like. I didn't realize Tivana was that tall. I would definitely recommend sticking stuff like this in the back of the book so other readers can see it. If you want, you can also add a blurb for something like "if you want more fanart, extra/early chapters, etc. go to patreon" as well.

Correct, as of the point we're at on patreon, you guys haven't met the Queen yet. Countess Frostweaver was definitely -- by far -- the hardest to describe to the artist.

These are great! Tivana and the Baroness really lining up with what I was expecting in an anime style. Not what I was expecting from Frostweaver as I thought she was a calculating baddie, but I guess she's more of a thrall to her vampire masters with this look. We haven't seen the Queen in the books yet, right? She's still squirreled away somewhere going for demi-goddess status?
