Is Paladin 4 the final book in the series?

A second arc will probably take us into the settings beyond the Sacred Seas. I've mentioned other pantheons of gods a few times, so Darren would probably be up against a bunch of them.

*holds out wads of cash* take my damn money!!! :oD Seriously, wrapping the current arc is obviously the big thing, but another arc would be nice. Especially as I feel both the heavens and hells will be thrown into utter turmoil once Darren is through :oD

Like to see more of Laura. Maybe something with his mother would like to see Darren save his mom. I think Darren personally taking up Amelia's training would be good.

When I initially planned it, I wanted book 4 to be the conclusion. I may do a second arc though, depending on finances.

Would love to see more of both Laura and Astarte. Seeing a small number of the converted succubi take on a role similar to the whitewood clan (probably at Cassandra’s insistence) could be fun.

I would like the amalgam angels running the sigil network dealt with. Like others I want to see Darren's mom to be saved in some fashion. I'm less certain about her being turned into a Prime Saint, but she should be freed(if perhaps lower rank) or put to rest along with the other amalgamation angels.

I think Akela pretty much covered anything I could think of. Love to see more Laura. Like to check in with Amelia after investing in her until he gave her his mother's Sigil, even if you are waiting until she's old enough to become an Adept before hunting demons, checking in on her training to get her ready would be good. Like to see Ashe finally come out of the sword and say hi to everyone and let Darren get his hands on her new angelic body. Kalaziel getting his dues goes without saying. When things finally go down it would also be fun to see the reaction on heaven social media through Asuriel. Seeing how they all react when they see how much fucked up stuff Kalaziel has been up to and how Darren isn't going to put up with them treating the world below them as nothing to do with them besides providing benefits. Otherwise, just do what seems fun to read about really.

I find when authors do perspective chapters, yourself included, it’s like a palate cleanser. And sometimes that’s needed, to almost let the reader take a breath and maybe ease back in their seat a little :o)

I think I agree with Iron. I always get happy when some authors gives a glimpse of what happened to all the small folk their MC helped. So it could be nice to see what happened with the town/castle that Rarek used to rule and now is under the rule of his daughter(?) after Darren killed the other two. Or all the people he helped before fighting with Kalaziel during book 2.

To be honest, most of the stuff I’m waiting to see are main arc stuff - such as how the freed holy warriors are doing and all that stuff. Laura is great, definitely want to see more of her. But those two Prime Sins were also interesting, made me wonder if ‘prime sin’ should be ‘primal sin’ :o) I’d also love to see more of the little people. Just because they’re not third order or higher doesn’t mean they’re not useful, and worth some screen time :o) And Amelia, she’s got that fire in her eyes at an early age, and while she might have been working with Bonnie, she’s still a holy adept (with the sigil of a legendary archpriestess). Somehow I think Darren will take a hand in training her just like his mother did - he killed his first imp at age 5, so Amelia should step up! :oD We haven’t heard anything of the keep/town that Rarek’s daughter is running, so it’d be nice to catch up with her. And maybe give her some sigils so she can ensure her domain remains safe, though if the Limedeep Guard are patrolling to keep all of Limedeep’s territory safe as opposed to just the city then no biggie. Would still like to touch base with her though Mysteries etc wise, I’d love to learn more of the formation of the heavens and hells and sacred sea and all that. Also I’d like to hear from Kalaziel’s opposition… because I’d have thought they’d have sought Darren out by now. I’m very much looking forward to the orders of holy warriors under Darren’s banner marching on Whiteguard. I’m sure there’ll be even more fourth order warriors amongst them, and given how easy they fare against most third order warriors, should be fun to watch! Especially once Darren has evolved to the sixth order and his primary supporters (Callum, Blossom, Audrey, etc) all get to the fourth, maybe fifth. I’m fully expecting his harem to reach the fifth :o) I wonder if Darren could rip the primary soul out of Kalaziel and replace it with his mother’s, essentially making her a 6th order prime saint. Wonder if we’ll find out what happened to the Lord of Light (*cough* who’s totally Darren’s dad).
