Today I got something interesting to show you. Not so long ago I expanded my arsenal with new tools. This new thing is actually an advanced AI which I use to enhance the look of my work. I honestly have no idea how it does it's thing but the results are very good.
Of course I got some examples to show you. Down below are 3 identical frames from the new animation and all of them are in 4K resolution. But only one of them was originally rendered in 4K. Others were AI upscaled from 1080p and 720p.
Look for yourself and guess which one is which:

If you have a good monitor It is probably not too hard of a guess but the results I think are still very impressive.
But wait, it is not even the best part. So resolution upscaling is one thing but there is also a frame rate. And this is where this thing shines the most.
All of my animations are rendered in 24 FPS. And it looks good but what it would look like if they were in 60 FPS? Well, It would be a huge waste of time to render frames at 60 FPS.
I simply cannot afford to do it normally. But now I don't have to cuz this AI basically does it for me in a matter of minutes.
I was skeptical at first cuz I did the same thing before and the result were full of artifacts and didn't look that great. But this new one just uses magic apparently with it's frame interpolation.
To show you - this is the first WIP animation that I showed you some time ago.
But now there are two version of it - original in 24 FPS and new one in 60 FPS.

Without an exageration - estimated time to render the new animation with my current setup in 4K and 60FPS is ONE YEAR.
Sure it sort of a cheating but I don't mind it one bit because the results are quite awesome in such a short time.
And to demonstrate both enhancement in action there is a post below for 10$ patrons which showcases a new piece of the upcomming animation in 4K and 60 FPS with a comparison to how it looked before upgrading.

So with the AI instead of rendering 4K @ 60 FPS, you can render at 1080p @ 60 FPS and upscale it to 4K?
