"Something like that. She was on the Federation's quickdial for dangerous missions. But I guess all that time alone on hostile planets must'a finally caught up to her, and she snapped. Set off a distress beacon on some desolate planet and then when a passing Federation vessel came down to check it out, she obliterated 'em and took off with the ship."

"No kidding. Funny thing is, she actually agrees. Thinks it's so horrible, she apparently can't bear the guilt and has been trying to pin the blame on her 'evil parasite clone' or some other nonsense."
"That's a pretty convoluted way of blaming your 'evil twin'..."
"I know, right? But she's totally committed to the act. Wouldn't stop screaming about how it was tracking her, and that keeping her locked up here would get us all killed."
