Honestly, I disagree. (Wait a minute...) You searched my room? In conversation like that adding the "have" seems more like you're suggesting they didn't do everything they could. "We looked everywhere" "Have you searched my room?" While you may be grammatically correct, tthis is an exclamation, it's how native speakers talk. "Did you search my room?" might make more sense, but I doubt Jenny speaks in an elevated way.
