Oh man I feel for you, I lost my mother not to long ago. She had stage 4 cancer . I hope you will look on the bright side as I do, the pain is gone and the suffering is over for them!

I am so sorry for your loss... It is very hard to lose someone close and during this pandemic it will be worse as you couldn't be with him.. You aren't alone - you have your family to comfort you in this sad time.. Take all the time you need to get over this, we will be here when you return to writing...

Thank you guys for your kind words. We couldn't give him a proper funeral as he was positive with covid. So they immediately sent him into burial, without even going through a wake. I couldn't be with him on his final moment, but it'll be alright. And yes, I will rest properly before going back for the update.

Passing on, often easy to feel that it is harder for those left behind. It's at least good that this was not unexpected and there was time to prepare for your fathers passing. It sounds like he might have been in pain or debilitated by his struggles with illness, yes he can rest now 😢. *I don't know why but I am crying slightly now, I guess I am empathetic to what it feels like to lose someone who is close to you* My mother passed very unexpectedly while I was in another country. It's easier to deal with when the loss is expected. Not that any loss like this is easy and it will take time for whatever you might be feeling to settle. Keep strong for yourself, your loved ones and your family. There maybe someone in your life that may need to know you feel the same loss that they do. It is a good time to come together and give support to each other. My sincerest condolences. I know what it's like. My father lost his battle to cancer a few years ago now, but it was both a loss and a relief. He was no longer suffering, but the pain of loss is real. Take the time you need, and I am sure the community is here for you if you need us too.
