In this article, I look at the techniques I use to come up with stories, along with the criteria I feel are necessary for a good story - or fanfic - to work.I also want to ask you all; what topic would you like to see covered in future articles?

Thanks for all the articles! If you haven't mentioned it already in another article, (if you have sorry) but I was wondering if you had any tips on how to engage the reader/flesh out a story.

Thank you for this, it was definitely useful :D I'd actually like to see something on the creation of original story arcs. Sometimes the hardest part of writing is making a good story arc. Too short and it's useless, too long and it becomes painful.

Thanks! This is something I struggle with fairly often. Glad to have your input on that. I actually can't think of anything specifically I'd like to hear your take on, that you haven't touched on already. Maybe humor? It's hard finding that balance of humorous situations and serious tension. Just a though.
