Development Update (24.06.2021)

It has been some time since I wrote anything to you. Some events happened and I feel like it is the time to share it with you. Usually I try to talk to you as a member of the team that ViNovella Games is. Yes, Fetish Locator is no longer developed by a single person, but now a quite sizable team is able to work on the game - only because of your support. But today I will talk a bit as a Vi (that is what everyone is calling me on Discord), and not as the whole team.
I had a small vacation planned in the beginning of Day-14 development, and it wasn't supposed to affect the Day-14 development, since the team could handle the workload while I'm away. But on the last vacation day a tragedy happened and one of my very close relatives passed away due to the Covid. That was absolutely unexpected and crushed everyone in my family. I have been dealing with this fact this last week. I found it very hard to continue working on the game I love under such circumstances. But I'm blessed with a team of great people who are supporting me and capable of working on the game when I'm useless.
Throughout this whole pandemic I didn't feel the danger being so close and so lethal. I hope you and your close ones are safe. Even if it seems that the disease is beaten and the world is getting back to normal and the numbers of sick and dead are getting lower in the statistics... Trust me you don't want to be in this statistic. If you have someone in your life, value them. You never know when they can be taken from you. It is very difficult to understand this later and not being able to say goodbye.
I really hope you will be fine and safe! I'm slowly getting myself back together and continuing working on the game. With Love, yours, Vi!

My condolences! Take alle the time you need, but consider that sometimes, a little distraction also does help. No full work, but some little pieces once in a while. Do not forget: You make us happy. This should mean noch pressure, but that your work is still valuable. Bless you!

Don't force yourself to work when you should focus on healing. if there's anything I learned this year the hard way, we don't have a lot of time on this earth so lets make the most of it with the people we still have.

I feel your pain my friend and family always trumps anything in life. I lost my fiancé to covid in the beginning and fought off two boughs with it myself. I'm still a mess, but if there is any advice I can give you my friend. Take a look around you and take stock in those who are still there and depend on you. If not for them, I know I would have given up long ago. Each day is a gift and each of us precious, take nothing for granted and find happiness in the simple things. Take care my friend and my prayers are with you and your family.
