To me they are perfect for each other. They always want to spend more time together ahah The way Zack just wanted to see her again in CC and his last though was for her makes you understand how much he loved her </3 Their story is sweet and tragic, my favorite lol Curious and excited to know what will happen in REBIRTH :)

Oh I always loved that about Zack and Aerith! And when it comes to Cloti, I love it for the same reason. Tifa can hold her own, of course. But Cloud still never hesitates (not even for a second) to jump and save her. ^.^

Don’t know if you want my thoughts but I’ll give them anyway? I think it has something do to with the protector role that Zack takes and the protected role Aerith takes. Aerith has always been a healer and not really a fighter. She relies on Zack as her “bodyguard.” Everyone wants someone who loves them enough to risk their “body.” Cloud and Tifa don’t have that same feel because let’s be honest Tifa can kick ass lol! Even if Tifa wants to have Cloud save her if she’s in a pinch she can hold her own pretty well. That’s what does it for me anyway.
