Followed your work since dynamo ep 1

Karribu

Thanks brother. I've subscribed to a few patreons in the past but yours is by far the most fun and value for money

Ian Hubert

HOT damn that's fantastic. And Elon Musk Travels to Mars is an absolute masterpiece.

Karribu

I used this here, it really helped thank you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6cE1isFrgk&feature=emb_logo

Ian Hubert

Thanks. Servers created using Ian's techniques. https://youtu.be/hbxR9FxFL0w

Mario Taylor

That is a badass-looking server rack!

Zeke Faust

Simply disable viewport overlays. You can even assign it to a shortcut to quickly turn on and off

Hey Ian, I've a quick question, when you're editing UVs for a set of faces, and you're dragging them around on the UV texture map, is there a way to turn off the selection in the 3D view-- so you can actually see what's going on? Or do you just have to deselect, look and select again?

sofia

these images are GORGEOUS

Tom Smith

So rather than more cowbell, you like to have more Greebles?

Its amazing how much usability you can get out of something like a Greeble, first time I hear this word actually lol. It speaks volumes to what is possible if you look at things from different POVs!

shonal bose

how do you block a scene with 3d kitbashing is another tuts in itself....so much to learn from you ian ...

Kryat Lore

Ian, you constantly amaze me with how much stuff you get done with so little. You are a true inspiration, man!

Jan van den Hemel

That's one handsome greeble. I still don't understand how those shots (especially the bottom picture and the one you posted before of the "waterworks") can look so painterly. It's like a hand-painted background. Is this all achieved in After Effects with Filmconvert? Either way, it's very well done. The waterworks picture is currently my desktop background...

Ian Hubert

Are you actually making a movie with a jet powered flying trash truck!? Because that sounds awesome!!

The last render so painterly! Stunning!

We shall worship Industrial Greeble always! speak of its power from dystopian to noir, thank you!

Phillip Park

Love it, thanks Ian!

Mike L. Taylor

And now they will be in all of my scenes 100X MUAHAHAAHAHA!!! Any chance you have a jet powered flying trash truck laying around I can use in my movie too?

Ian Hubert

I'll be releasing the whole scene at some point here- but until then, here's a video of how I made them (they're stupid low poly, haha) https://youtu.be/uvnhMPTmtTM

First you teach moth's how to love, now greebles! Epic.

Chromfell

Actually saving my life with this right now, or at least my sanity for the day :D

I'm so enamored with your image modeling technique, but unless I'm following you step by step I rarely get the quality of results you do. Guess I just need more practice, but please, please keep this stuff coming!

Strobez

Awesome stuff man! Can't wait to throw this into my scenes. Any chance we could get those super cool laterns in the last scene?

Blake Rizzo

Love is Love. Embrace the love!! ❤️❤️

Seth Rutledge

Dude, awesome :) I used one of your vending machines this morning, just re-branded it, was super helpful!

Really been getting inspo from dynamo recently

Awesome! Thanks
