Clothesline Asset (and Making-Of)
🕑 Added 2024-05-01 08:33:08 +0000 UTCLet me know if it behaves unexpectedly! I've been sitting on this one for months because I couldn't figure out a rotation method that worked in every version of blender.
WHICH MEANS- this version is for
Blender 4.1 and later (a version for earlier releases pending).
DOWNLOAD BLEND FILE (includes still image)
(also weird- I made a version of the image sequence that was batch processed to start at frame 1, but blender refused to load more than one frame of it?? So this one starts on frame 86,400- like an image sequence should.

I didnt' see anyone say it above... if they did sorry. GG to slide righT... then once you have it sliding down the edge you want, then hold alt (option on mac) to extend along past the end.

Hey Ian, just signed up again for your Patreon. Had to cancel for 2 months as money was a little tight but now I'm back for you amazing content. Love your fast paced learning and positive energy. How can I access your discord channel? Keep up the great work bro, take care and look after yourself Mr Ian 👍

just to address your early-on concerns from the video - white balance on that sequence definitely feels off, I just divided the sRGB conversion by the original color of one of the shirt labels (~ #FFD7A8) Edit: oh... you did that in the shader. Alrighty then. Be that way. I'm not touched. Not at all

@Raffo That's true, if you want to slide along a specific edge. But triple G lets you rotate, scale, and move along any axis!

Are you opposed to releasing more of the music you made for the dynamo episodes (i am the disouster in particular)? Love it and even just to listen to the mp3s makes such good working music!

Zeke you are the best! Thanks for all the helpful hints you've been dropping

surprising lack of gasoline powered mini-copters holding up the clothesline... :p

“Or maybe some women’s clothes too” I thought to myself, “oh I can add those myself” before looking over at a wardrobe shockingly similar to Ian’s :|

8:22 You can! The seldom used but highly useful TRIPLE G tap!
