Changes To PSR's and Off Months

Running Toaster here with the announcement of the changes mentioned previously, as the title and image states, there are some changes set for the PSR submissions, and they are as followed
1 - Limited Slots, with the flood of 60 submissions in the month of June 2021, it has been determined that I just can not handle that many PSR's, the time required to get them all done with the combination of my RL work put me extremely close to my breaking point, and I prefer that not to happen again...
the previous months maxed out around the 50 mark so the limit will be set to 50 as that seems manageable, the sketches can generally be done within 5-6 days which leave a decent amount of time to allow everyone to sample the images and vote for which one gets coloured, i do enjoy this part as it allows for everyone to interact with the art being created, and i want to keep this feature present moving forward :)
As there is now a limit set that brings up the next point,
2 - Submission Restrictions, not as bad as it sounds, but in a nutshell, if you obtain a PSR the Previous Month, you will not be eligible to submit a PSR in the current new month when the form is opened on the 10th~12th (depending on availability)...
Please enable Email Notifications, via the Patreon Setting page to get the quickest notification when the posting about the PSR form being open...
This is to allow for supporters that did not get a PSR the previous month to get first dips at the new month and a higher priority in getting one of the available slots...
Then, on the 14th for 24 hours, if any slots are still available, the form will then be opened to all* supporters to fill the remaining slots, I say 'all' as in the supporters that have access to the PSR Submission post and link to the form, which means at this point Patreons that submitted a request the previous month can now submit a new request...
A secondary post will be made when this timeframe is open to notify the remaining supporters that they can now submit to the form, as well has updating the initial posts title with [open/closed] if slots are available to help with the indication of the form status...
So if luck and availability are on your side there is still the possibility of getting a PSR every month, but getting one this this time frame will also place you in the category of 'you got a PSR the previous month' for the following month,
Please Note- I will be creating an application that will check the previous months submissions, so please don't just submit regardless, as your submission will be rejected for that month in its entirety, including in the 24hour window, and don't just use an email that not your patreon email, as that will flag as not a member and just get ignored regardless, so don't try and cheat the system, it won't work out for you...
3 - PSR Off Months, aka 'Toaster Time', this ones a bit more of a bigger change, for 3 Months of the Year, I'll be blocking out PSR submissions entirely, these months will be April, August, and December, these months will be used to work on Personal Projects, Sales, Pay Comics, and Normal Commissions (time permitting), new PSR Submissions will not be accepted, however, Token Commissions and PSR Upgrades will still be available during these months, so if you get enough token during a 'Toaster Time' month, you can still redeem them, so don't worry about that...
This August (2021) will be exempt from the above 'Toaster Time' as this change is rather short notice, so I'll still be doing PSR's that month...
That pretty much sums up the intended changes that will take effect as of July, so if you got a PSR this month (June 2021) you will be exempted from applying for a PSR in July (2021) until the 14th if slots are still available, a secondary post will be made when this timeframe is open, as well has updating the initial posts title with [open/closed] if slots are available to help with the indication of the form status

When it comes to your tokens it depends on both your level (wether you get Bronze, Silver, or Gold) and how long you've been subscribed to Running. You get 1 token of whichever you receive per month

That's cool, I think this totally makes sense and is understandable, and hopefully it should decrease your workload and stop you from getting burned out again. You're a great talent and I'm sure none of us want you to risk your health. On an unrelated note, I can't find any way to view or spend my accumulated toaster tokens, am I missing something?

correct, if you got one this month (june 2021) you'll have to wait until the 14th of july (2021) (second notification post, and if slots are still available) to submit :)

no Token Commissions, and PSR Upgrades are completely separate to the submission process and are not effected by these changes, as they have nothing to do with them :)

Honestly expected something like this when I signed up. Think its completely fair as it could also help your time due to less PSR upgrades too.

does it count for this month, as in, if we submitted a PSR for this month we can't do it next month? I feel the answer is obvious but i want to check

Sounds fair. I did have a question though. If a patreon turns in tokens for a image or sequence does this count as a PSR for the one PSR per two month limitation? Also, love the term toaster time.

Just for clarity's sake, anyone who submitted a PSR this last month, June 2021, is *not* eligible to submit one in July 2021 before the secondary post on the 14th; is this correct?

hey that's totally fair and I personally think everything you listed makes sense, after all you need to be able to take time for yourself
