About Ashen's over-the-top reaction....
🕑 Added 2021-06-29 17:35:10 +0000 UTCThere were a lot of people concerned about Ashen and his over-the-top reaction. First, I am FULLY aware that he's being dramatic AF XD. But I tried my best to convey that we're all on the same page about his outburst. I mean, Sarith, the bad guys, Tanya, everyone was shooketh at what happened lol.
But, hear me out, Politicians in my country can be really corrupted. We even have a convicted murderer, a drug lord, and a bunch of other crazies in the parliament. (Why do you think I migrated lololol) There was a politician's son who seriously injured the boyfriend of a woman he flirted with at a bar :3 There are accounts of dudes being threatened with death over affairs etc. With the power their fathers wield, the kids can act quite terrible. (There are good kids too, I was friends with a couple of them)
But yeah, it only occurred to me after I drew it. There might be readers out there with less corrupted governments and politicians..... but these things actually happen :P

I was surprised because I didn't see it coming but I wasnt upset. For me it was just completely unexpected. I'm loving this story, and still love it. We just now know Ashen quick on his feet lol.

Thank you so muchh! Hopefully, the next chapter will make people realize that I (and a majority of the characters) find Ashen's reaction over-the-top, and that would kind of justify it!

I am surprised people were so shocked. I mean, beyond the fact that it was shocking, of course. I did not think it was out of the blue or over-the-top, though. I am kind of envious of people who didn't realize that sometimes teenagers have this sort of reaction to such stressful situations. It is unfortunate, of course, but it definitely happens. Anyway, all this to say, I think you are doing a fantastic job telling your story.
