A new month begins! Thank you all for your support!
This week we were busy with two tasks:
- Sunny worked on finishing the new background. With what we learned from the previous background, we were able to make this one much faster. This confirms that the backgrounds will be faster to produce in the future.
- Zack has been busy finishing the interrogation feature. Soon you will be able to play detective in the working-class district.
While working on the interrogation, we took the opportunity to improve the dialogue system. As a reminder, we created our own visual novel system rather than depending on a plug-in made by someone else for many reasons, so this system is improving from version to version thanks to your feedback. Until now our system was limited to 4 choices in dialogues, that seemed to be enough at the time. But with the number of plots increasing, we have improved our system so that the number of choices is no longer limited. This will allow us in future versions to add more choices for you to talk to characters and learn more about them.
Next week we will continue the work on Katja to do her poses and finish setting up the new content taking place in episode 2.
