This week is Sunrise City's 3 year anniversary! But before we talk about the year that just passed, let's take a look at what happened this week.
In Art, work on the park continues and is nearing completion. It has been a very interesting background to do, and we have learned a lot of things for the future. New enemies have also been created but you will discover them in game. Lastly, Sunny has made a new wallpaper which we will come back to at the end of this news.
As for the rest of the work, a new scene has been set up and the work on the skill management system (Deck) has started.
Next week our efforts will be directed to finishing the background, a new character, and the Deck.

And now let's talk about the 3 years! 3 years!
Already 3 years that this project exists and can continue to evolve thanks to your support and feedback!
The past year has been the richest year in terms of content with the releases of Prologue part 5 2/2, Troubles in Block B part 1 and 2, and Best friends. We hope to do even better for the future, and it starts quite well with the upcoming version (Samantha) which is the version with the most lines.
Before we get to Sunny's surprise, a few anecdotes about Sunrise City:
- The game has about 5800 lines of dialogue. The version with the most is v0.7.0 (Troubles in Block B part 1) with about 900 lines, the one with the least is v0.2.0 (Prologue part 2) with about 320 lines.
- Sunrise has 31 characters: 18 women and 13 men. The characters present in the most episodes are Ellen and Miles. The first character created is not Kyle but Lana.
- Apart from the first version, the version that took the longest to develop was v0.7.0 (Troubles in Block B part 1) which took 6 months, the fastest to develop being v0.7.1 (Troubles in Block B part 2) which took 1 and a half months. The very first version took 7 months to develop.
- Originally Ellen was supposed to be wearing all green, Scorpia was supposed to have long hair, Blake, Rollo and Zoey were not planned and Mr. Swan was supposed to be a grumpy old man.
- The main inspirations of Sunrise are Tenjho Tenge and The Breaker.
We reach the end of this news, we have 2 things left to do, first Sunny worked all week to make a wallpaper to celebrate the 3 years, you will find it in the links at the bottom of the news. As patrons you are the only ones who have access to the HD version of the wallpaper (the image will be put in a reduced quality on different social media sites to promote the game). We hope you'll like this wallpaper!
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude for your support, it's thanks to you that this project continues and improves. Thank you for your financial support, thank you for your feedback, thank you for the likes and ratings you give us in different places that show us that you appreciate our work. We also wanted to give a special thanks to some of you: Bosco, Greyson Paul, Groove819, Kite Zeppeli, OKH and Thom Cairmine, a HUGE thanks to you!
We're going to give it all for another year so get ready because we're going to have to save Scarlett, kick Connor's butt and take on Nova!

Well, that explains why I love this game so much. The Breaker and Tenjou Tenge are two of my favorite series!
