So, this was all a psychology experiment. I've been meaning to say since looking at the accidental post: the big twist reminds me of an abandoned story's premise. The story is called "The Island". It's about a tiger signing a contract to do porn. The studio itself is an island. To get there, he wakes up naked on a boat, with his short-term memory erased. The difference is that there's a city on the island, where all potential performers are monitored, and the business is shady. Now, then--so the supposed stock villain just leaves?
