But ... yeah. *sad I get super sad to let characters go because they live their life happily ever after. That's why I always search for more conflicts. Esp. with Julian whom I really like, I hate to let him go :[ It's not over yet.

That he becomes "boring" after the end may actually be a good thing. I think it shows that his story has a natural ending to it.

So well put ♥ I always wondered why I liked Julian so much and that good/bad attitude plus the circumstances that he's in and how he reacts to them might make him so likeable. Like, you know that he's making some stupid decisions but you completely understand why he's doing what he's doing. And the adults around him aren't perfect either. I'm still searching for a conflict for when he's older because he gets a bit boring after the main story. But that's on another plate.

It goes back to when you put out the storyboards of the first few pages. He is a young boy who suddenly finds himself in a new family setting where he no longer feels at home. As a result he latches on to Phil, who makes him feel like an adult with potentially harmful consequences, as well as lashing out at his new step-brother as a way of feeling powerful in a new family that makes him feel powerless. He is both deeply flawed and deeply sympathetic, and I love that. There is so much room for a wide variety of character based conflict just from what little we know so far.

Yes, that's right. When I made Viktor, I thought it would be cool if Robert was his brother. Viktor doesn't go to boarding school though. I'm also thinking about crossovers like Phil meeting university!Piet at a party or Julian befriending Piet when Piet moved out and Levi and Julian knowing each other and stuff like that ... Oh really?? I wouldn't have guessed. Why Julian? He's also one of my favs.

So if I understand correctly, Viktor is Robert's brother, and that's what ties G&G and cutE together in the extended Lisaverse? I really hope you get the time to do cutE one day. Julian is my favorite character of yours by far.
