But think of all the hairstylists that are going unemployed! I enjoyed the project after all, I'm actually pretty comfortable with my giant bald head.
Loish
also, nothing wrong with being middle aged, bald and having a big head. you make it sound bad!
Loish
use the ~power of imagination~ hehehe

Do you have any pointers for my version not turning out like I'm a middle aged bald guy with a big head? :D

This is so fun! I love how you tweaked the features just enough to make it work.

I gotta admit that I think all this #toonme drawings look just a little bit creepy haha. Some look pretty cool though. I love how you handled the transition.

Loish suits you... lovely and a bit mysterious (both name and you).

Thank you! I do have kind of a semi-realistic style so it gives a bit of an uncanny valley effect, hahah.
Loish
You were correct! Itβs low-ish π my real name is just Lois.

Slightly funny story to go with excellent portrait: When I first saw reference to you (from Djamila Knopf, I think) I was musing on how to pronounce your web-name. I decided my favorite was "Lowish". I think from an earlier comment, someone called you "Lois" so that rang a bell. Is it Lois H?

Wow that looks good! Now I want to make one myself :) but itll probably frustrate me :/

Looking at the transition from right to left is astonishing. Critically, I can see the exaggerations in the left side, but to be forced to compare it to the right is throwing my mind for a loop. I can't help but take the left side as actual, not toonish. *stupid shift-returns And, to toot that same horn, the depiction of hair seems very in-step with the composition. Even with the blurring in the background it feels right. Bravo!

Would love to be able to do it but I cannot do digital art hahaha
