The options for the vote on the next animation
🕑 Added 2015-08-26 11:19:46 +0000 UTC I'll be sending out the ballot for the next animation in the next week or two, and tallying the votes shortly after. These will be the candidates on the ballot. As usual, please feel free to offer feedback or ask for clarifications.DRAGON GROWTH ANIMATION PART 4
The most obvious candidate. Part 4 will see Andre's situation, and indeed himself, continue to escillate. Can Renamon escape to safetey, or will she find herself in a very sticky situation?
pros for this option - I would get the most bang for buck in terms of animation length develpment time, as I have most of the technical requirements, as well as some shots themselves, ready to go.
cons for this option - I won't be able to add many things that haven't been seen before, and the scale of the character is becoming lost in the simple and low background; theres not much left for him to outgrow!
DRAGON GROWTH ANIMATION PART 1.1
This will be a remake of the first animation, with full animation of both characters, as well as a narrative thrown in. And a lot longer ^^. It's much, much more than a re-render of the existing part 1.
pros for this option - aside from some relativley minor upgrades to the renamon rig, this animation is ready to go and will offer an excellent animation legth vs development time ratio. And because some shots will reuse animations form the original, its already partly made! Also, Andre is more relatable in size, allowing for some more interesting and readable scale.
cons for this option - aside from the afformentioned additions, it's nothing new.
DESKTOP GROWTH

A very small male anthro rat lives with a much larger female bunny scientist. Being in the bad habit of taking her work home, the rabbit leaves something the rat really shouldn't eat on her desk; but he's the hungry kind. Soon he's growing out of control. But that's OK with him; he's always had dreams about being closer with his housemate, and soon he might be big enough to realise them.
pros for this option - its growth, but has more of a narrative. I'm even goign to try out voice acting, which is frightening but exciting. Also, because the character starts so small, there is a lot new to see here.
cons for this option - Because it has more of a narrative, it moves slowly. Because of its scale, its also episodal. These two factors mean that the first epesode will be mainly setup and little fetish payoff. I also need to upgrade the anthgrow rig and model a female bunny, as well as set up a decent facial rig for lip synching. This animation may need an extra month or so to produce due to these setup costs.
GYM RATS
A well-intended instructional video on safe and efective use of gym equipment soon degenerates into an outright porno. It takes a lot of willpower to keep bench-pressing when someone is licking your dick like that. male/male anthro rats.
pros for this option - no growth focused, so its completley new. Insetad, it focusus more on mainstram explicit. Requires only minor upgrades to the anthgrow rig so I can get started straight away, giving it a good animation length vs development time ratio.
cons for this option - no growth, if you're into that ;).
SHORTCUTS
A slighly runty anthro horse aspiring to be a great athlete returns to the stables after a workout, where he is instantly intimidated by his competitors as they shower. However, he finds that someone has left him a mysterious gift in his stall. A mysterious substance that greatly accellerates his progress. Some may consider it cheating, but when you're this buff and tall who cares?
pros for this option - for the first time, actual muscle growth to go with the growth! This adds something genuinley new. The animation is also bite-sized and will be a standalone animation, rather than a part of a series. This is also the idea that excites me the most, personally ^^.
Cons for this option - Its technically the most taxing; the anthgrow rig needs to be upgraded, and two horse meshes made (one for the base, and one for the muscle morphs). This animation may need an extra month or so to produce due to these setup costs.

As much as I would like to have some kind of finale with Andre I think it would be a good idea to give you a break from that project. So I will have to say the horse. It's not part of a series, it's quick, and even though it may be challenging I think it would good for you since when you're done it would be a relief to go back to the simpler kinds of growth.

While this is a great suggestion and something id love to do, sadly muscle growth is its own beast; it would take a lot of extra time to set the rig up for it (as it would have to be uneven and not just a single morph to match the style of growth). So that's why I put it up as its own option in 'Shortcuts'. In the future I will probably look at muscle dragon growth, but there's a bit of infrastructure I need to develop before then :(

Id like to see a few more andre the growing dragons, but can you maybe include some muscle growth concepts. Like focus on him growing muscles some more please.

Good question! I don't know yest; a few days at least I guess ^^. I'll get more specific on the dates when I send the ballots out.
Why did you have to make it hard to choose? Going to stay with Andre probably, but the others are really enticing too.
I like the idea for the horse animation, muscle growth needs to happen :)

Thanks ^^. And the horse one is very much normal growth too, not just muscle. Thanks for pointing that out, I clarified it in the description.

All great ideas. I really want to see part 4, especially if his feet accidentally crunch nearby towns or whatnot. A "directors cut" version of parts 1 and 2, with consistent modelling, and animation for the Renamon would be my personal pick though. I'm not super into muscle growth personally and regular m/m sex is all over the place - growth sequences are your unique value proposition :3
