EARLY ACCESS // seceda study
🕑 Added 2021-09-21 17:00:03 +0000 UTCA friend of mine took a road trip through europe a few weeks ago and posted an incredibly inspiring photo of Seceda in Italy. I had to use it as a reference for a study!
Iβm still trying to figure out how I can capture depth and those finer, smaller details. Iβm also still trying to work out which brushes really βclickβ for me when drawing environments. I tried a new brush set that helped a bit, you can find it here: http://cbr.sh/bzotu4?ref=loish

thank you so much emily :)

I keep coming back to the way that upper right corner cloud creates an uneven mixed soft and hard edge so the corner of the painting disappears into the margins. It feels lively and has drawn my interest every time I checked my email since you posted.

that brought me back for sure!! I follow them on deviantart and loved their soft painting style. too bad they kind of stopped posting everywhere. I wonder what happened to them!

hey riley! unfortunately there will be no pdf version, it will only be hardcopy. sorry about that!
Loish
that's a bummer! maybe they have the same brush set hosted elsewhere too?

Oh, just remembered! You have been talking about "sculpting" when you are drawing lately. This person has a really interesting process (and outcome!) that I dig that feels alot like sculpting to me. https://www.deviantart.com/ilikeyoursensitivity I am just in love with their lighting and the soft transitions. :D
