🕑 Added 2021-11-03 19:20:50 +0000 UTCI finally finished this one! This is one of those paintings that I just loved doing from beginning to end, but I didn’t get to work on it as much as I liked because I was so swamped with other errands and tasks. Today I finally got to sit down and finish it up. Like most of the art I made in the last month, it’s an ode to the autumn and how much joy it brings me! Hope you like it :) I recorded the full process for this one so I’ll try to put together a process video soon!

Hi Loish! I'm so in love with the colours you've used in this one! I'm pretty new to your patreon - and I've found your content incredibly useful for my own artistic development! Recently I had to take a break from drawing so much because I strained my drawing wrist! I took time to recover and strengthen - but I've found it a little hard to get back into the flow of drawing (like I've lost my rhythm?). that's a good topic! I will add that to the list :) and just a quick answer for this specific case, i ended up making it a smaller ponytail to bring the elements together and have less empty space in the painting!

OBSESSED with this one! I notice sometimes how you deviate away from certain elements in your sketches vs the final product, such as the tall ponytail in this piece. I’d love a tutorial on why you do that, with both compositional elements and color, making an art piece overall more focused and successful!
