it was in a brush set that i bought (viorie's brushset) but it's soo easy to make. just a few dots arranged vertically and you've got yourself a rake!

haha yes I do that a lot! I'm working on a process video of a different painting where I spend ages rendering the face only to go back to an earlier version. I usually like the sketch more.
